Yea actually coordinate with your clan, don't all attack the same players because their easy, if someone is two starred don't try to three star, attack someone else! We had many enemy players attack the same guys several times, just to three star, 5 attacks and 3 stars dont mine if I do, another 4 attacks and 2 stars even better, 9 attacks and only 5 stars!
We we found its all tactics! Coordination, don't let the higher levels attack easy opponents let the weaker clan members, I can go on and on with loads of different pointers, but you get the idea
Have a preliminary preparation and a final preparation.
In the preliminary prep you have players pick from the enemies who have already set up trophy bases. They choose whoever they can 2 or 3 star. And they also pick a preferred second target.
During Final Prep they go over the bases right after they lock in and make sure the targets they picked still work.
Make sure you never attack a base twice unless you can add more stars FOR SURE. Try to attack new bases unless there's no new bases you feel confident attacking.
Have a place like a googledoc to keep track of who wants who with what army. And have a place where people can discuss new targets or swapping targets.
And talk a lot! If you are ever unsure about an attack, ask someone who would know!
Spend a huge amount if time looking over the base!
If it was already attacked watch the replay(s) for cc troops and trap location.
And as always stay calm. Keeping your cool can make or break a raid.
Great information from the two above posters! Our match ups have been crazy! We have two losses under our belt and counting. lol
I think for the most part in our clan, we have a few number of people who don't chat but actively donate, and I really don't think they read the chat or take any notice of the clan mail. We've had a few people taking on bases that had already been 2 & 3 starred by someone else : /
Or taking on a TH7 base, when they could take their own and should leave those bases for the TH7 players.
Not lurring CC troops... (I thought this was a given?)
Also not taking notice of where traps, bombs etc are and then going the same route as a previous player.
I do believe it's a learning curve. And I can see 1 of the leaders just kicking everyone out soon because he's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with people not listening. lol
We're currently 40 points up in our second war and won our first so its looking good so far.
we keep it pretty simple on war days - first round take your reccomended. . second one - have a scout and see if theres someone that you can easily three star.
never re-attack a 2 star but its ok to look for a 1 that could be an easy 3.
the biggest contributor to me is having active members involved though - theres nothing more sure to lose you a war than a bunch of folk not using their attacks and getting 2-3 starred because they didnt prepare their base.
leaders and co's try to stick around as much as possible to keep CC's full of decent troops and to co-ordinate/motivate everyone.. i think this helps a fair bit too :)
2-0 and here's how we do it:
Lower half of our eligible players get first go at whoever they want to attack. Of course it winds up being mostly the lower half of the opposing clan, but that's kind of the point. Get as many stars as we can from our weaker players.
Top half gives a never ending supply of max troops to lower guys during this time. Only one attack per base during this time as long as it has been at least one starred.
When a vast majority of the lower half has used both of their attacks, we open it up to the top half minus the very top players. Upper half players go for a base that has not been attacked or improving a 1 star to a 3 star. Lower players with eligible attacks either go for a 1 star on a unattacked base or improve a 1 star to a 2-3. By far the most crucial point. Our stars flew up during this time.
At the very end, our top 5-8 players go in and go for either a 2 star on a high level remaining unattacked base or improve any remaining 1 star into a 3 star to close out the war. At the end of both wars, we had at least 1 star on every base minus the top 2-3 opposing bases that were unattacked and a vast majority of 3 stars with a few 2 stars.
Both wars were landslide victories with comparable attempted attacks by both clans.
I had to remove some semi-active players who didn't participate in war. It made us loose our second war. Now we have a bunch of players who need to learn to raid properly. One of or clan members (TH8) wasn't able to three star a TH6 because he didn't think his attack through. And another one tried to snipe a TH and failed. I see it as a learning curve. It gives the better players a chance to educate the lesser ones. Talk them through attacks, evaluate attacks, discuss troop configurations etc.
As above posted many answers about ur thread but maybe if u not facing this problem(said in above threads)then i think your opponent is more powerful n with better tactics than u.:p
This is how we manage it:
1st Attack.
-Attack whoever you have been paired against on strength. i.e. Count down the number of places you are from the top of your clan, and then do the same for the opponents clan. Attack this person.
-If you do not think you can get 1 star, swap with someone.
-Try and do your 1st attack as soon as you can so we can asses the situation.
2nd Attack
-Take your time. You do not need to rush this.
-Aim for anyone you think you can get a 2 star improvement on. If you don't feel you can get 2, aim for 1.
-If you are attacking someone who has already been hit (this should be the case) WATCH THE REPLAY OF THEIR ATTACK!
I hope you have some better luck!
Peace
