Getting crushed , everytime

first of all im mid level TH8 player , cannons going to be maxed soon , splash damage maxed and working on AD , AT and cannons

my issue is , im being crushed all the time by high level TH9 clashers , and i dont mean experience level as i know it is meaningless , i mean their army level , heroes and spells , how am i supposed to defend vs maxed Balloonions raid with lv10 BK and lv12 AQ ??

i cant farm 100k and leave for a sec and im getting 3 starred by another TH9 with maxed army and strong heroes , please don't tell me not to break shields , because i have a builder free and my next builder will be free in several hours

i tried farming for collectors but since CW came collectors became history and very rare , i tried giant-healer , i even tried balloonions with lv2 minions but im still far far behind collecting gold when im logging off

IMO the punishment should me more severe for attacking lower THs , about 60%-50% for 1 lower TH and so on , i understand that TH7 with their army CANNOT 2 star my base , but i cant even 1 star the TH9s that are attacking me even with mass dragons , hogs .....anything

otherwise , why not giving the players the ability to gain more loot from attacking higher THs ? thy are risking revenge and losing cups , and it is not guaranteed to get even 1 star vs midcore higher TH


and before anyone start blindly flaming , im in low gold3 range , 1446 cups tp be exact , i dont even understand why many TH9s are getting really down there

The best thing you can try and do is manage your resourses to keep them low, particularly your gold as low as possible when you log off.

Try focus on your cheapest upgrades and walls until you have a stronger base to defend your loot.

TH9s will leave you alone if you don't have a lot of loot available to take.

many of the the 9's and 10's that dropped to sub silver climbing back up as they didn't understand the matchmaking for cw. silver has normalised. So will gold.

thanks for the feedback , im currently trying to save about 2M gold to upgrade AT , im keeping walls till the end so i can farm them in crystal while doing DE also (i have about 165 skulls atm)
i guess i will have to hop alot in leagues to avoid them huh ? :|

yes i have noticed ! , many weeks before the update i was looking for a weak TH10 with infernos so i can finish my firefighter achievement but i got none , now i finished it in one day because i was seeing 1-3 TH10 in every 10 Nexts

VollsRain : thanks for the advise , but im not new TH8 player , i have been in TH8 for about 3 months now , i have above decent defense and my base can hold TH8&7 attacks pretty good , even some TH9s
but recently it have been crazy , one time dude with TH10 attacking me and broke to the core just to steal 1.2k DE i guess , plus i have been in 1200 for a while and its only worth if your upgrades are cheap , like lv9 cannons or bombs , since i can make max 800k-700k an hour

i got to th8 a couple of days back and i made the huge mistake of remaining in gold 3 :(....

see i filled my storages just before the town hall was done to use on upgrades but i screwed up by not giving a thought about having th7 defenses and base with th8 levels of available loot...

i had only come across a few decent th9s when i was farming and the th8s were also pretty medium generally...my first 3 defenses as a th8? got 3 starred by 2 well developed th9s and 1 near maxed th8 losing 1mil loot of each resource:mad:...i dropped to 1200 immediately...and its been much better since...those attacks completely blind sided me....they came out of no where....just tells you to be prepared really....i suggest you drop to 1200..surprisingly im getting some decent enough loot atleast to get the new buildings up to speed...make your way up from there

Im a TH8, and i haven't even maxed my splash towers, let alone AT, AD, or canons
Im at gold II, but i have no trouble against th9. Yes i got 3 starred sometimes by higher lv TH (th9), but that happens to every other TH lvl (except TH10)

You said you are having trouble even 1 star a TH9... I think you need to review your offense startegy. I can even 2 star some TH9 just by using BARCH and healing spells

If by any chance, your suggestion about more severe loot penalty for lower TH lv (50% for 1 lvl below) happens
There'd be many people complaining, as for now people already complaining that the loot is tighter the further you progress in the game

Gold 3 and below is max for th8 unless u wanna get smashed

I think that Silver I is a good place to be farming as a TH8. Put yout TH in acorner and all the Newcomers that strive to get the gems for reaching 1250 trophies will just take the TH and give you a free shield.
Silver I is also full of TH7 players, which would be your usual meal of the day as a farming TH8.

the first weeks at any new TH however are very hard because youre such an easy Prey.
