Clash of Clans for Windows

Hi fellow Clashers, I just wanted to know what you guys thought about receiving a Clash of Clans app on the Windows phone. I know a ton of people with the Windows phone and I'm sure they would love to have a legit Clash of Clans game to play on the run! Let me know what you think. I'll add a poll as well to see who thinks this would be a good idea. :)

I don't think this will happen, because then it would be available on PC and SC don't want that.

While they're at it, why not Blackberry and Symbian too? Joking of course.

I think its a bad idea because of limited returns. There are slightly more than 50 million Windows Phone users out there. Android users are set to surpass 1 BILLION this year. iPhone users come in at somewhere at 400 million or so plus iPad and iPod users which is probably about another 500 million. Windows Phone users aren't getting those phones for the apps. Candy Crush Saga isn't even available for Windows Phone, so that should tell you something as large as that group of users is.


Now, here's Supercell's numbers....29.4 million daily users makes them about $1.1 million per year approximately. Take the total user percentage of the existing platforms (0.0000000196%) and apply that to Windows phone numbers (.98 users, lol). You see the problem now. The install base would have to be 10% for them to make even $170,000 which would be the pay for one developer.

The money just isn't there.

my friend, the windows phone users not above 50 million because there is no app, if apps like clash of clans or maybe clash of clans will exist in windows phone market place the number of users of WP will increase, and i bet for that

it's note right, because not all the apps on WP exist on PC or Xbox One, there is a special code must be written in WP app to play on PC or Xbox One, And vise versa

i think that is obligatory because now SC its used to be as a part of advertising for android and ios,
And i don't think SC like to be a advertiser for any company


And when you go to buy a new phone first question you ask for your apps and COC is one of the important,
Me for exemple, I buy new WP, but i still in the Box, because i cant stop playing COC,
And i beg them to supply windows phone,
i have another android phone and i try every day to stop playing and move to my new phone but its like DRUGS unstoppable

i wish it get to windows phone

SC wouldn't get much profits from it.
