This is Ridiculous

The complaints in this thread are pointless. If you don't want to participate then don't, you have nothing to lose even if not a single member of your clan attacks in the war you lose nothing. If your clan wants to do more clan wars and you don't want to then that's between you and them. The clan stat doesn't even record losses just wins so there is literally nothing to complain about, supercell did that part properly.

People seem to forget that clanwars also requires some skill. Sure you can train massdragon/balloonian/gowiwi army and smash weaker bases but you can also be economical. Do you need a big hammer to smash a small nut?

So far I have used balloonian in the four war attacks. Troops are actually done kn about 45 minutes, spells take longer but with 2 rages I can get 1-2 stars. Not going to score three stars anyway against a decent th9 or better anyway. In our two wars two star raid has been a job well done with three stars being very rare as most bases fighting have been at least mid th9's.

You get all these notifications and no clan is going to like you if you don't attack, and then you'll just get kicked, and no clan will take you.

Lol! Other clans can't declare war on your clan! You're only in a war because your leader or one of the co-leaders started one! You have to complain in your clan about it.

For all you guys saying not to attack during CW.....

For all of you people saying you can still farm easily. Yeah you're right you can if you are a noob and and your troops cost nothing or have your town hall outside your base which is called a "farming strat". I have been giving out 6+ dragons in war. Now first off that is a lot of elixir if I am trying to save for something that costs a lot of elixir. Secondly training those dragons takes a lot of time so that means it takes longer to train my troops for farming. And thirdly if you are switching from a farming base to a trophy base for war this also takes time since they don't yet have a save base option and it is annoying to have to do this twice every 3 days. For you people saying "you can still farm......" no ♥♥♥♥ you can still farm.. but not as efficiently as if you are focusing 100% on farming rather than half on clan wars and half on farming. Stop bashing on this guy. I think it's a great idea. Plus some players aren't as competitive or very low lvl players who are new may not want to be in war either. There should be a option if you want to be in war or not. That way if you don't want to it simply wont put you in war but you can still be in your clan.

If you farm with armies costing 760k elixir how do you ever make any progress?

I hope I have my clan talked into one war per week, on the weekend. This seems to be the best time for people in our clan to be around and have bases sorted out etc, not to mention more time for the war itself. That is more than enough for me as these last four days have been ridiculous.

The good news is our we have outscored our opponents 236-163 in our last two 45vs45 so at least we got off to a good start!

I agree with this completely. Also to add to your statement. I am a VERY competitive person. That being said we have about 8 people in our clan who have a good idea on how to attack and are consistently good or decent. Then we have players who are absolute trash and don't know to send wall breakers in behind tanks. I know you will say kick them but we are a clan who started as friends who know each other and now my friends have asked for their friends to join who I don't know who are terrible. This being said, last war I spent more time strategizing, telling people who to attack, how to attack them, making troops, etc etc and basically leading the war than anything else. I got hardly any farming done and I spent a lot of time helping my clan members. So tell me how this isn't disrupting my farming. Me and the leader got so annoyed we basically just said, we are done with this for a few days.

P.s. Our clan is 2-0 in clan wars so obviously it's working it's just a lot of time and effort for me because of people who have no clue as to how to attack in our clan. ♥♥♥♥ last war I had a guy who had half his base open walls at town hall 5.

Lol. He isn't attacking with armies that cost 760k. He's saying that is what he spent in total in one clan war. Meaning each attack was probably 300k + donating troops. It isn't that hard to do when you are high th lvl.
