That's very selfish as a clan member and will probably get you kicked from most clans...since you can still farm in the. 48 hours they give you for war.

I upgraded 3 walls to level 10 while in a war why? Because I farm once I request troops and everyone is full on their war base. I start to farm, before I go to bed I leave my war attack army training and request to troops I'll use in my attack. Then magic happens while I sleep n I'm able to attack when I wake up. I can either farm or prep for another attack, attack and farm for the rest of the war or I can farm then attack. You see what I did there boys and girls, I managed my time properly. These past two wars I left my final attack for later in the war since I'm the strongest in my clan in case it's close and we need to turn a 1 star into 3 for their 2 extra stars. Bit I farm till I attack.

I haven't bothered to read more than one page of this thread, but I'm a bit appalled some people still think clan wars are mandatory and/or deny farming... when the resources are actually completely safe and you don't have to attack.

Hell, you left the clan so it doesn't even concern you anymore. You could even come back and snipe a couple THs for extra effortless loot; easy 500-600k.

What frankie said. Dont get why people dont do the attacks with their overnight army and when they are gonna take a break......unless ur playing every waking moment u must have breaks lasting a few hours during the day where u can cook a big army with spells.

clan wars are awesome fun....it hasn't disrupted my farming just given me another thing to do in the game beyond spam farming loot to upgrade stuff....

We have people in our clan that dont want to do clan wars back to back......i hope they dont win the debate!

Solution for now:

Let your (co)leader(s) ask who's in for another war, then let them kick those who doesn't want to participate right before they sign the clan in for war and let them invite the kicked ones again as soon as the clan is linked to another clan for war.

I bet those who complain that it messes with their carefully planned farming schedules are the same who complain that there isn't enough gold to loot from people. News flash: Clan wars actually pumps more loot into the eco system, so even people who only want to farm and never participate in wars should be getting something out of this. I call that a win/win.

Just to let you know I only really read the OP posts, If your farming use a hybrid base. Also I'm not sure if its just me but I'm pretty sure we have an invisible one day shield for preparation day if you don't attack anyone in that time not saying we do but kinda weird when you don't get attacked once with 3 million gold in your storages for a whole day lol.

Agree with this completely. 2 attacks is not that big of a deal, one in the morning and one after work, I always cook a bolloonion army when I'm going to be off for more than an hour so using it in clan wars instead of farming in Gold II really doesn't make much difference to me.

If you don't want to cook an expensive army for clan wars then don't, many of the low levels in my clan are using giant-healer armies and the higher ups are using balloonion, neither of which is really going to break the bank on costs and we are about to win our second war (this one was a blowout, lol).

Edit: I will admit that I also find clan wars to be a bit distracting but that is only because it is so amazing that I can't stop watching the replays and giving advice and sometimes forget to go out and farm, but I could be farming just like normal, and once the initial hype dies down I will happily farm and war at the same time.

I think it is very disruptive. I wouldn't really care if a clan did clan wars only on the weekendsor someting, which is what I want, but other clans are constantly declaring war on us and I can't attack regularly because I don'twant my clan to lose, so I need my army camps to attack clan wars. Thereshould be a way to decline warring. SC said you wouldn'thaveto do it, but if you are in a clan, you pretty much do have to do it or you'll get kicked from every clan.
