I realize there are 2 types of players- those who spend MONEY and those who don't....
It's a great game- probably the best I have played, but the fundamental way it was intended to be played will be the reason for it's decline.
Let's take a minute to recall how most of the "soft" games are played. Most of them are connected to a "social network" where visiting your friend is encouraged, and buying and selling takes place between You and the Game.
Now, let's think about HayDay. It is almost like the creators wanted a real world gaming experience. The problem with that is we don't play games to experience real world scenarios, we play them to take part in scenarios that are better than the world- we play games to take part in something we can control.
The newspaper in hay day is probably the worst aspect of the game, but you need it. At times it is faster than waiting 5 to 12 hours for your machines. And Neighborhoods have proven to suck. What we need is the ability to chat with the friends we already had.
Today I left 5 messages for someone who obviously doesn't check the neighborhood notifications which isn't surprising considering how clueless they are and how selfish they play the game.
In order to make this game work better there has to be more control given to the player. Downside to this is there are many who exploit the system or exploit other players and they may stop playing if people have control.
What do we need? We need a block feature & we need the ability to limit how many times people can purchase from us in a day. If you want to bring the Real World into this, then be aware that actual stores do have requirements and limits. I see limits on plenty of sales. A local store was selling a certain product for $20 but you could only purchase one! Why? Those with common sense know why. I don't have to explain why the store did this.
On HayDay I spend too much time trying to keep my store open (full) and I'm exploited, raided, and disrespected.
I have come to the conclusion there are two types of players- those who spend MONEY and those who don't.
Spending money on HayDay allows you to be more considerate and think rationally when deciding to buy something. Those who spend absolutely no money tend to view everyone as competition and every opportunity as competitive. If there are 20 stalls with 15 of them having premium items then the non-paying player will take all the 15 premium filled stalls just because they are there. I would NEVER do that, I spend money. I spend it on things I need and I spend it on Tom. I bought 60 stalls for my store, My entire farm is surrounded by Gold Walls (which are expensive), and almost all of my production slots have been purchased. I really don't need Tom because I produce more than I need. Therefore, when I run across someone who doesn't spend ANY money, it quickly turns into a relationship where they assume everything I put out is for them, and they COMPETE seeing if they can get there first and buy everything first.
This is a huge problem, people not spending money on this game. It is what makes playing with others so terrible. In other games people interact with the Game more, it doesn't effect you that someone else doesn't pay. With Hayday we are forced to interact. If you play enough to get XP you will need to sell some things, however, I don't like to be raided continuously or disrespected by those who are trying to do it all without spending any cash.
Those are my thoughts.
I clearly opened by saying how muchI enjoyed the game
I clearly opened by saying how much I enjoyed the game- and I mostly wrote this for Supercell and those who know exactly what I'm talking about. So thank but no thanks for the snide remarks. I stand by what I say, it's true. If you have spent $20.00 in 8 months that is good you purchased once, but I spend about $25 a month (maybe more) and I do not have that sense of desperation I have seen so many get. It's important for the people who make the game to know these things. We interact more in HayDay than any other game I have played and that is why so many come here complaining. Should supercell ignore the complaints? Probably not. Since I pay and get taken advantage of a lot I am guessing or taking a stab at the problem.
i cannot control myself from replying to you

You said that. this is a game. Obviously we dont plant and harvest wheat in 2minutes in real life. I believe from the time needed and ingredients, the game developers has tried to make it as realistic as possible.
If you want it to be perfectly realistic - get yourself a real barn.

I consider the DD one of the best function in game. Else how do we trade? you want to sell something you advertise so people come to buy from you. not everyone in my fren list wants to buy what im selling but i can sell to those people who are not in my friends list by advertising on DD. what's so twisted about that?

You are obviously in a wrong neighborhood. just because your NH is quiet, that doesnt mean all the other NH are the same

You just went back on your own point. In real life, if i have the money i can buy as much as i want to.
And if a local store runs out of what i need, i'll just go to the next store. if your store's sold out, procure again. so simple.
seriously i dont get what you're trying to mean.
if you want to sell limited quantity premium stuffs, just dont them on your RSS?
if you have them for sale to earn more money, why all the complicated system to limit to sell or not to sell.
you want to sell - put on your RSS
you dont want to sell - dont need to put them up on your RSS
the limit is your RSS slots.
you want to sell something, but you want supercell to put a stupid function to limit customers to purchase minimal quantity of items you put on RSS?
this doesnt even make any sense. you can keep all your mats if you dont intend to sell them.

My my... by spending money, you want the game to make you feel special? it feels like you're yelling at all the players who does not spend any cent and to be on par with you.
i cannot believe what i had just read.
people spend money on games for shortcuts. some people are being lazy, some greedy. some just enjoy having what they want and they're willing to spend it. nobody asked you to spend money on getting 60slots for your RSS.
seriously? your making noise because you spent money on the game, and others dont.
get a real life barn already would you?
i've never seen players like that.. you're a first
