Im at gold 2 at the moment. Loot is damn bad.
I'm averaging below 150k gold and 150k elixir per raid.
I am thinking of moving up to gold 1 for better loot.
I am still using lvl 5 archer barbs and gobs to farm and i find it difficult to loot all 3 gold or elixir storages during a raid. Is it because my troops are lvl 5? Upgrading lab in 1 day and after that hopefully barb or archer lvl 6.
Is there any advice for me?
i'm in the exact same boat as you mate. My th9 finished yesterday, but i had saved up 6m hold, 6m elixir and 80,000 dark elixir so i was able to do the following upgrades immediately.
1) Archer queen with 40k de and upgrade to level 2 with 22.5k de. That left me at 17.5k de
2 & 3) Double crossbows costing all of my 6m saved gold.
4) Lab upgrade with 2.86m elixir.
5) 1 level 7 army camp costing 2.25m elixir.
As you can see, I planned my upgrades prior to my town hall completion, which is something you probably should've. I'm level 73 so clearly I am a premmie th9, I decided to upgrade after maxing my level 8 walls in under 20 days and the game became boring for me.
I understand what you mean, the loot as a premmie th9 can not even be compared to that of a th8 with maxed troops. We are basically th8 until we manage to attain level 6 troops and begin farming like true th9s. That being said, you should probably go to the trophy range where you found the most success as a th8 and grind it out for a few days/weeks. I'm currently at 1750 and pushing to 1800-1900. The loot has been better than down at 1500-1700 and I have farmed 5.1m elixir today alone which will be enough for me to begin level 6 giants.
I intend to gem lab time as 14 days waiting for 1 level 6 troop to upgrade is absolutely ridiculous. I will never gem resources though as hardcore farmers never have to gem resources.
My clan is kat power and I'm Miracle. Feel free to take a look at my base and I will check up on this thread of you need further advice.
kp, how many builders u have
and what lvl was your bk when you upgraded
5 builders and he was level 7. I wasn't really farming for de when I took him to level 7. It was just because of my gold farming. I have also saved enough for level 3 archer queen 1 day after finishing th9, again, I don't farm directly for de but it just comes along with my gold and elixir raids.
I'll do the de farming after maxing my defense and level 10 walls.

I did this as well the way you managed your builders, it helped a lot I got th 9 exactly I week ago, my xbows just finished today and I'm loving them. I got all my walls up and now focusing a little more on the new defenses to get them up. I maxed everything in townhall 8 so it wasn't too bad as a transition. I started barbs in lab first because I didn't have enough elixer storage space to store 7.5m elixer at the moment.Quote:

I forgot to share more background info about myself.
I managed to farm 6m gold and elixir and 40k dark elixir before getting to th 9.
I have my archer queen already. But she's just level 1.
As of now 2 x bows,1 army camp, 1 elixir storage and 1 telsa is upgrading.
Planning do my research lab as soon as possible. Miracle you intend to do level 6 giants first? Isnt it elixir expensive to farm with level 6 giants? Having said that giant seems to be overpowered at level 6, maybe it's not a bad choice.
You're right, the loot is terrible. I found those 150k after pressing next so many times... Im slowly climbing up now.
I am th9 6days old too... what base design u r using? Can u post pic plz?
