soon all active clans will become autocracy in order to win the wars, those who disobey will be kicked, clans with too many casual players will break up
supercall should atleast give [individuals] an option to stay out of the war, or a cool down long enough for ppl to take a break.

You do have the option, just let your clan leader/ co-leaders not search for a war. Simple.
The answer is simple and has already been stated!

I was was none to pleased to realize one of my clan leaders had started yet another war! Less than 12 hrs from when the last one passed.
I definitely think there should be an opt out for CW.

This issue has nothing to do with SC and not even so much the introduction of clan wars. It's because of a lack of communication between your clan members and leader. If your leader keeps starting wars without consulting anybody it will surely cause problems.
Well if there is no more fun just stop playing the game. What´s the point in playing if you´re not having any fun doing so?
Lol as a leader, i can say it is stressful, especially when u have a mixed clan between very to low active players, but i think even better the leader should be the only one to declare war, after our first got war ended, i logged in and realize we had just started another war..unfortunately there is no way to tell who started the search so i guess we are stuck with yet another war. All I'm saying is that people trying to wait atleast one day, and yea i agreed, but someone went off to start yet another war, just a but annoying
BUT CW's is indeed the coolest thing in CoC :D (the first 10 min are such a rush!!) haha

8 minutes to redesign base on prep day, 8 minutes to do 2 attacks on war day. If you can't put 8 minutes apart of your day maybe you're too busy to play clash of clans and should just focus on irl stuff.
Really don't see the problem, you have to arrange your base in prep day which is not that must time and have 2 raids over a 24 hr period. That means that maybe you have to brew 2 armies (yes 2) that maybe slightly different from want you normally brew.
If your clan wants to go to war and you do not, then you obviously no longer meet the criteria for the clan.
Supercell has kindly provided a button to resolve the problem ..... It's clearly marked "leave clan"
The key is not to have them too often. After the hype dies down have a schedule so people dont get burnt out and fed up of it! A weekly weekend war if what we are thinking

there is another problem:
we are on our way to the second victory against clans from countries we dont "like", everyone in the clan becomes high and bloodthirst.
just like there is no way to get patriotism and collectivism out of sports, clan wars wont end up being only a "game". it's nothing personal, not even about the loots they get, it's just about human nature. Players who got involved are not casual players who happened to be in the same lobby, but two groups of people who spent months or even longer together.

Since clan war is just released, there will be modifications later.. I believe SC will try her best to accommodate your concern.
For the time being, only a better communication between leaders and members help solving the problem.
Just an example from my clan:
My clan started a new war immediately after the 1st war end. It was because we won the war, and everyone was so into the war. We did ask for confirmation a few hours before starting the next war (we foresaw a victory by the time). Although not all member reply, we decide to start another war and at the same time monitor the reaction of the members. We even discuss if we should kick anyone out, but we did not although they did not participate in the first war. By now, we lost one elder because he does not like the war and left the clan. We still keep a close look and see how we can do to solve the issue. Currently we have 1 'trophy pushing' clan and 2 'farming' clans; maybe, we will have 1 'trophy pushing', 1 'farming' and 1 'warring' clan :) We'll see :)

Good idea actually! While my clan had our fair share of fun for the first two wars. We are also thinking of doing it once a week in future becoz it can get quite intensive during war day (especially during weekdays where majority have to work, school etc) and also once a week gives it a bit more importance and something to look forward to (and hopefully clannies will put in more effort and participation in war).Quote:

2 wars on war day really truly is not anything hard at all. its 10 minutes time. if ur clan decides to war even less often, it can come out to maybe 6 attacks in 2 week period. that's the most inactive I can think of that is still considered playing.
There will eventually two types of clans one that farms and casually gets loot and make better bases, and then there will be the aggressive players that form a clan with the intention to dominate clan wars making huge expensive armysQuote:

Not individuals, but give leaders the ability to opt their entire clan out of the war. Belief in the leader is belief in the clan.
However, I can see what you're getting at. Despite SC's claim that clan wars will be a 'casual addition to gameplay', players are virtually forced into participating in them because there is no opt out.
There are plenty of like minded people out there no matter what side of CWs you are on. As a leader if CWs is causing a division in your clan you need to get everyone to agree on how often to go to war or even if you are required to put max effort into winning the war.
There are two viewpoints that are present in many games. The hardcore player and the casual player. It's up to leaders if your clan will take a casual or hardcore approach to CWs. It makes sense to causally war all the time as there is no downside to losing. Your clan just needs to figure out if it can survive losing some wars, if it can't you need new members or a new clan.
Its only 2 raids, whats the big deal. The loot bonus shouldnt be much worse than your normal raids anyways

Its as simple as that, you dont join a farming clan and whinge when they dont hunt cups, and likewise you dont join a trophy hunting clan and whinge when you want to farm.
