Raiding.. What are your thoughts?

I don't mind raiders. But I think it gets a little bit irritating when it is the one and the same neighbour coming to raid and get all the good stuff time after time, repeatedly. But, I have put the stuff out on my rss, so they are to be sold, so I haven't done anything. (And actually, after a longer period with nothing on rss or only boring stuff this neighbour in question hasn't come by for a long time now.)

To delete a post, just hit the edit post button, scroll down a little and tap the delete post button. You might also have to tap the radio button that says delete post.

And it's not a little repetition and you are not really sorry and no one has any fangs out. It's just that this subject has been discussed to death and you can find out a lot more be doing a search. So far everyone had been decent to you, let's keep it that way please.

I don't understand this kind of threads...RSS are shops and this is a game. I need carrots, I buy them. I need pumpkins and I find them in a RSS that happens to have, also, screws or axes, I buy them all.

I don't believe we can delete our posts if it's the first in a thread. A mod has to do that.

True, but then if you really wanted to delete it, you could just delete all the words or just say never mind. And with the go advanced button you can change the title to something innocuous. There are ways if you really want to so it's not really the excuse it was made out to be.

Because I do like my neighbors and don't want to irk them! And sometimes I'll buy more from a friend or neighbor because I know they do not mind.

You have summarized my play style and ethics perfectly. If i want to my neighbors to have first dibs on premium goods, I make sure nothing is advertised. After they take what they want, I open the rest to the DD. If I have 20 boxes full of default corn and wheat, then I am wheating and I want you to clear me out.....raiders are welcome. Sometimes i need to make coins fast and no neighbors are around so I sell lots of premium goods to the public. If I post premium goods and have an add up I don`t care you buys it. it`s there to make coins so go ahead. If a trade is in progress on my last box, I ask you respect my trade as I respect other trades in progress.

I think what players forget is that the premium goods are so hard to come by that when you come across a store with lots of goodies they buy up what they can as it could be hours of paper searching before you come across anything again. maybe if the items were not so hard to come buy, players woldn`t feel the need to buy up everything and raiding would be less an issue.

You put items for sale, it's up to the people to buy how often how much etc, calling them raiders is a bit harsh, afterall, it's only a game. People buy thing because they either need them or want them, what's the big deal really?

I have seen people buy stuff from me and turn around and put it up for sale in their own stall, these are neighbors of mine, not that i care or paid attention. I was at his stall, and my inventory is full, so i go back to my stall to place items for sale, went back to his stall, bought his stuff, as i was buying, he put my out more stuff, and i noticed some items i had just put out for sale myself, went back to my stall and he was the one buying them.

I mean it's only a game, why nitpick and take it so seriously.

I have one neighbor whom i delete, why? Because i bought some items from him, but didn't buy wheat. He got angry i never buy wheat from him, even 10x for 1 coin, i still don't buy because i have no need for them, i buy what i need and what i want to stock up on. I said in order to buy from him, i first need to buy wheat and i said buh bye. It's a game people

That's crazy. So he said you could only buy from him, if you bought his wheat too.? How crazy is that. I rarely buy wheat either, but when I do have to, I might buy out every last one. It's a good thing I don't have friends like him, but I doubt there are that many like him out there. Like I said before somewhere. People who worry that much about what people buy usually don't play that long. The game and the way it is designed just doesn't please them. But let's refrain from calling people who follow the rules of the game names. They aren't doing anything wrong AS FAR AS THE GAME IS CONCERNED. So calling them names is just wrong.

Lighten up, people. I can't believe how rude some of you are to a newcomer that, heaven forbid, posts a comment on a topic that has already been discussed. Nobody wants to search through tens of thousands of old posts, some very old. They want the viewpoints of the people playing today. If you see it's a topic that has already been covered enough (your opinion) then skip it and move in. No need to be nasty to the poster. I can honestly say that I have met some of the nicest people playing Hay Day but I have also met some of the snarkiest.

This thread wasn't started by a "new player." It was someone with over 100 posts and at level 46. This whole Raiding thing has been So overdone that almost everyone has had it with the whole subject!
