Hey farmers,
What are your thoughts on neighbors who come to your RSS and completely buy it out? I know I put items out to be sold so I'm glad they were, but I put out a variety of items for lower and upper level neighbors. I believe its common courtesy to buy what you need and move on. Having said that, I can't decide if its extreme to remove these raiding neighbors or appreciate the sale.

Please search and review the other numerous threads on this topic. I'm not sure how you've missed them since they've been in abundance.
Also, it's not common courtesy to buy what you need and move on. What's common is buying what you want to buy.
Do what you want to do. People have a right to buy whatever they want. And you have the right to delete anyone you want to. They probably won't even notice, so don't fret about it.
I believe it's up to the person doing the buying. IMO the term "raiding" was created here. Many, many people who play HD do not come to forums, and do not know what "raiding" (on HD) is.
When I first started playing, I would go to a RSS and buy what I wanted, never paying attention to how many items I purchased. I thought I was being nice buying what a person had for sale. I figured they put it out there to make money! Hey, when I go garage saling, I've yet to come across someone who told me "now be courteous to other shoppers and buy only 3 items from my garage sale" ;)
Then, I found the forums, and came to find the term raiding, and how it upsets so many peeps! So, I changed my buying style, not wanting to offend anyone. And that is my choice, I know I did not need to.
All that said, my buying philosophy is this: if I found your RSS thru the DD it's all up for grabs....I will buy what I want, and just might clear you out! ;). If I come to your RSS because you are a friend or neighbor, I do try to stick to the unsaid (or sometimes said loud and clear) 3 item maximum. Because I do like my neighbors and don't want to irk them! And sometimes I'll buy more from a friend or neighbor because I know they do not mind.

Before this gets closed and/or gets nasty. Please just do a search for all the past threads. It doesn't do any good to stir things up as this is a touchy subject, but I suspect you know that. There is a thread just today with many people's thoughts and then head to the new to hayday forum and you can find other opinions galore.Quote:

My thoughts are thankfully there is a delete button because in the event this game starts to add any tension, regardless of position on this topic, relief is an "x" away. :)

To all of those getting nasty, i realized that after i posted this. I was able to find a way to edit my post, but not a way to delete it. Sorry that a little repetition can make your fangs come out. Honest mistake
