Clan Wars: Has Farming Become Redundant?
With the newest additions of Clan Wars I can honestly say that Clash of Clans has entered a new dimension of fun but it may be effecting some players more than others. I'm not a Farmer (for those who don't know farming is the act of exposing your TH outside your defenses to retain your loot) but I understand that Farming can be the bread and butter for most high-level players. But with the addition of Clan Wars and with most Farmers being in highly-skilled clans, I just want to ask how big a change its been for some of you as you can't expose your Town Halls without giving the opposing team an advantage with that 1-Star. I have a friend who farms and he says that with the coming of the new update, his clan is actively searching out clans to war with. As he is one of the better members within his clan he is required to participate in any wars from orders of his Clan Leader. This has made him relocate his Clan Castle with his TH at the center of his base so he can always be at the ready when the Clan Leader announces a war making it impossible for him to farm properly.
This situation seems extreme but I'm generally curious to ask if the newest update to this game might have made Farming less useful/seen in the higher leagues. What do you guys think?
