If you ever plan on reaching champ with loons, don't mass drop your troops. Yes, you might get some nice 2 star raids, but the chances of your raid failing miserably is much greater. Instead, try to learn how to use slow looning, surgical BM or whatever people call it. Successrate of 1 starring an opponent is much higher.
How exactly did you drop your baloons and minions? Did you drop them instantly? Check for traps using 1 minion? Check for seeking air mines? Drop them in a clump? Where wizard towers could kill them off easily?
I'm a lo lvl th7 baloonion but I've been two starring lvl 70+ hehee
I'm currently at 3300+ and I'm using balloons and minions. I never aim at the town hall, but rather for a base with lots of stuff outiside and then take out the outer archer towers with rages and finish to 50% with heroes if needed. This is working well, but to get to champions you need to know how to use. High level heroes also help, mine are both lvl23 and I can save the raid all the way from 35%.
It allows you to farm and to push at same time.
The training time is not too long, and resource consumption is relatively low compared to others.
Airlolo went to world number 1 with them.
Tyrael, Justin, and Stitch had a wonderful time farming with them in the champ league.
Sky 9, all th9s, used them to get to world top 100.
Even I the not so skilled Th9, had farmed in Master and collected vast amount of des.
I only came down recently to prepare my upgrade to th10.
Town hall 9 speaking here. From SKY 9 (#55 TH9 clan in global!)
I pretty much use 140 Archer 80 Barb until 3100. Clan castle usually has witch/wizard/archers. Paired up with heroes and 4 lightning spells.
3100 to 3376[my current record] I used 24 balloons and 50 minions with 6 balloons in the clan castle. Usually paired up with heroes and 3 rage and 1 lightning spell.
During the time with Barch even if I never loot anything the bonus rewards me very well so I make a ♥♥♥♥ load of Dark Elixir and Gold on the way up the trophy ladder.
are you joking? airlolo got player 1 in the world with balloons and minions,, and plenty of th9s have got champ with balloons and minions....Quote:

Barch as far as you can the switch over to big. Armies if u need to but personally for pushing i barch. For the 50% 3 x an hour roughly compared to 1 big atk,but I'm only th8, but good luck
