Clan booted 30+ members after first clan war, unable to get an explanation. Clan loot is gone. Is there an advantage for remaining clan members? What would be point of a massive purge like that?

There probably isn't an explanation unfortunately. Perhaps try joining a more secure clan? :)Quote:

could it be because they werent active in the war? or left their th outside their base?
Ive seen leader of clans in this forum saying they are kicking some people for doing bad attacks such as 11% on a base a th lower than them. I myself and me have plans on doing this if it keeps happeneing
Before clan wars we would kick players who had low donations and over 100 received. After the war I went through and kicked about 5 or 6 players who had 0 donations and did not participate in the war. As already stated, participation is critical in the war stage.
Not to be rude but sometimes new players slow a clan down especially in clan war. We kicked 7 people because they couldn't defeat lowest lvl opposing clan. Also cost us the star count. I don't mind helping low lvl peeps with good donations but why should I suffer for other peoples inexperience or lack of funds to progress quickly to at least a decent lvl. So to finally make a point get a secure lov lvl clan the trophy system is there for a reason. And if you have lvl 6 troops look us up as long as ur willing to donate usaf-e
My guess is that they thought the members they kicked weren't on the same level as them and could hurt them in a clan war... Or they were just being trolls. I agree that you should find a more secure clan. If you're looking for one currently, you can come join zxREVENGExz :pQuote:

Mass kicking like the one you mentioned happens probably because:
1. The active/higher ranked members wanted to be matched with smaller clans
2. In the new clan war, participation, base design and attacking skill plays a huge role in winning it.
Clans are matched with others that is equal in raw power. Inactives and inexperienced players will be a burden in a war, its even worse if a player with maxed upgrades is very poor in base design and offensive skills or becomes inactive, as the stronger players in a clan will cause the clan to be matched with stronger enemy clans.
3. Unlikely, but they are pobably just trolling
Kicking lower leveled members and inviting high levels in does not provide an advantage to the clan in CWs, as the clan will be matched with equally strong clan in term of raw power.
being active and good at defense/offense might get you into a clan with good war winning ratio regardless of raw power/level.
p.s: I got a lvl 68 th8 clan member who succesfully defended against 7 attacks, all from th 8 and 9s before being 2 starred by a th 10 using witches and drags. My clan leader gave the guy the 'mvp award' for our first war. He also 3 starred one th 9 and another th 8. Now that is the kind of player i want to keep for CW and also learn a thing or two from him.
I was the 9th out of 43 in trophies and 2 starred both my opponents in CW, both with TH 7. Not sure, but I think the person who answered they may have wanted smaller clan was close. They are recruiting new members now - Ticklish Turkeys. The more I think about it, they were probably a bunch of kids. I just wanted to know if they still get to keep the rewards I won in the CW, because I sure as heck don't have it. I will take your advice and look for a more secure clan.
