Clan wars question

Our clan just ended a clan war. Even with all the bugs we agreed that it was pretty fun. About an hour later we were in a war again. What we cant figure out is, did one of our coleaders take us to war or did we get thrown into a war because we were a matching clan size and strength to someone else? It is fine either way but we just want to know how that works. Do we have to hit declare war to be sent to war or can it just be declared on us without us having selected to go to war?

Our leaders and coleaders are scattered around the globe so figuring out if someone pushed the button is really difficult. By all accounts everyone thinks we didn't push the button but are not sure. We would love some clarification on how the game works.

Thanks supercell for this new feature. I know its been a rocky roll out but over all my clan agrees that it was a lot of fun. (Of course we did win the war. That always helps! :D )

Once your war is over, your clan should not be placed back into the matchmaking queue without a leader or co-leader pressing the start war button.

But... there have been a few reports similar to yours, so it's something we're watching closely for more details.

Yes, it is lootable. Other players have reported back both attacking and defending that 10% is eligible to be looted.

Thanks twister! We appreciate it. :D We are fine with going back into war. We just didn't know if "we" did it or not and what to expect in the future. Most of us had planned to wait a few days to be sure everything had settled, so the new war was a little surprising. But not a problem. We apparently have a lot of competitive people in the clan haha.

It's been fun and our clan has really pulled together so that was a nice added bonus to this update. The last war was a challenge with the limitations of chat and clan mail to coordinate everyone (aside from the bugs) and really taxed our leader and coleaders to make sure everyone was educated. The hand-offs for coordination was quite amusing actually. But now that we have gone through it once it should get better. :D

Im sure someone has probably said this before but if we can see who pushed button to go to war from our clan (at least leaders and coleaders) it would help us to manage our wars and our people. Just my 2 cents for future consideration. :D
