Clans war clan castle not updating

So our clan is in prep day and i requested a golem and i had 30 spaces. Some jerk donated me 5 archers. So since you cant dump troops i decided i would just gem my clan castle to lvl 6 so i would have 35 spaces available so somebody could donate me a golem. But the new clan castle cap hasnt updated in clan wars and it still shows up 5/30. Ive waited about an hour and have quit and opened the game many times. Very frustrating as my strat needs a golem and now it seems im stuck with archers. Why doesnt the clan castle update?? Its Preparation day not attack day!!!
