Hello guys,
I just started this game a few months ago, and still snowballing every day. I am not at the best to the knowledge about this game but I am very competitive. Is there any advice that I can take in order to get myself out of the Silver league? I would love to take challenge onto reaching to the top of the top players. Thanks.

This game is a long-term game, you will not be able to advance as fast as you want, you need to spend time building and upgrading. If you're Town Hall 6 or below, you shouldn't be pushing. Rather, you should be upgrading your base. Keep in mind trophies matter very little except for seeing your own personal skill level for taking bases down, you should be focused on developing your village.
Thomas is correct, you should not be pushing trophies if you are struggling in silver. Look up farming strategies and build yourself a solid base before pushing for higher leagues. However competitive you may be, be prepared to never reach the top of the top in clash. People go to ridiculous lengths to get there, and quite honestly, it's not worth it.

Thank you guys for your inputs. I haven't realized that it is crucial that upgrading everything becomes more of a priority than it is to upgrade the Town Hall. I will have to reconsider that and focus on upgrading my base before advancing to the higher league. I would have to maximize my levels on buildings that I own to maximize my defense against the odds and my offense in greater chance of being able to stomp over bases.
Though they're correct.. You can snipe your way to crystal to get those extra gems..
Sniping - using barbarian archers to destroy those who put their Townhall outside
If you're th7 or so, use a giant - wizard combo to reach gold (though of course pointless)
I really agree with them that you should max all your buildings first.. Leagues and trophies are meaningless, I think you should keep can and farm on
Sniping is the best strategy, and 2 barracks of Barbarians as well as 2 barracks of Archers works best. Take rage spells and strong CC troops in case you run into teslas, but it's silver league so the chances are pretty low. Also take advantage of the numerous TH 5's and 6's. Very easy to 3 star :)
If I were you I would get up to 1250 trophies to get another bulider and upgrade your bases I know I am not very good at this game but i am give you advice as i know
