War bonus

Our clan is well on its way to winning our first war. We had several members attack bases that had already been 3-starred. Our question is, while we know their stars do not count toward our win, will they get war loot/bonus because they achieved stars?? Whether or not they actually counted in our war, they won their offenses..
we made it very clear in strategy not to reattack 3-starred bases... But we think they did it because they thoguht they'd achieve easy loot in a win anyway .

Any help or answers will be appreciated!

Their full War Win Bonus will be displayed in the upper left of the main Clan Wars Screen for each individual.

If you win the war, you should get 100% of that.

If you tie, there is a slight penalty

If you lose, there is a bigger penalty.

Note though, there is a bug with the DE award at the moment, from Steve's posts:
There is a new bug we've identified with Dark Elixir war bonus. The winning bonus is rounding down to the nearest 500 (400--> 0, 900 --> 500, 1065 --> 1000) and the losing bonus is rounding down to the nearest 100. This only affects DE.

There should be some rounding, but this was NOT intended. We will fix this in the next maintenance.

I understand that my bonus is listed in the upper left corner. But does a person receive war bonus for attacking a person that was already three starred?? We had a clan member attack a 3-starred enemy. They received 2-stars in Their attack, so it was a win for them. It Did not help us in any way in winning our war because the person had been defeated. Do they receive a war bonus win regardless??

I believe the war-win bonus is available for everyone, even subsequent attacks.

If you click on a 3-starred base now, the War Win Bonus still displays, it isn't 0.

So, in theory, you 3-star all the enemies on your 1st attack, you would use the 2nd one to re-attack an enemy with the most war win bonus to maximize that (except the 1st guy who beat them since you can't attack same village twice with your two attacks).

I wouldn't say I'm 100% sure, but about 95% sure

I think they should. Just like if they were trying to improve on a one or two stars. Did their war bonus reflect that?

What you say makes sense according to the rules of war but seems a little unfair to the team. You make no contribution to the actual win of the war, because it is a three starred base. But you win easy loot because you got stars for yourself off an already attacked base and your teammates actually won the war without your help. I think this is something supercell should think about or address. As a co leader of a clan, the elixir i spent to help my Mates win exceeds what i gain from war. So someone not attributing to war win it getting loot is a little frustrating. Makes me rethink warring at all

Had same question. We are way ahead on stars and a teammate tried this and received the loot bonus. It works.

I hear what you're saying, if I was a leader of a clan and was not so far ahead it didn't matter, or had already 3-starred every possible base, and I saw members only chasing loot, I might have problems with them. But in smaller wars (10v10 for instance) it is probable that all 10 get 3-started in the first 10-15 attacks, so the last 5-10 if you want to attack for loot, I see no problem re-taking the village to maximize loot. I wouldn't want to restrict a member from using both of their attacks personally, but do see what you're referring to.

Yup, got confirmation, the rewards are static for the whole war, they don't deplete, so anyone earning a victory on the same base earns themselves the war-win-bonus for themselves.

Yup, got confirmation, the rewards are static for the whole war, they don't deplete, so anyone earning a victory on the same base earns themselves the war-win-bonus for themselves.

I understand your point but in theory if we are war matched there shouldn't be either team just 3-starring the whole war. I dont want my mates to be left out of war Loot but it's not fair if they wait to confirm we cannot lose and then three star a base to achieve loot. A base they are guaranteed to win. And no help at all to the winning team. And they never raided any other time in war. Guess there will be lots of booted clan mates

If i see someone trying to attack a 3 starred base when we are not sure to win, ima just boot this guy, no matter what and no matter who he is! He is done here. From a passed out leader's point of view. Just dont forget the hammer!
