So... what should I do?

I have been at town hall 7 for barely a week now. In this short amount of time I have got surprisingly quite a bit done. I got 1 tesla built and another under construction, I got my third mortar to lv 3, got my 2 cannons to lv 6, and that archer tower to level 5. I have 160 level 6 walls and just need to get 15 more upgraded. As impatient as I am, I decided to trophy push a bit. I got up to Gold 3 just before the update but now I find it very hard to go any higher. Ever since clan wars has been released I have been having trouble getting even just 1 star in my raids. In terms of farming for resources I have been alright, but because I am constantly pressured to get trophies I tend to mess up raids I should of just went for the loot for.

And joining a new clan did not help at all. They are pushing right now, and threaten to kick anyone out who is either not in gold or who is farming. I want to stay because the leader has maxed troops, but I just cannot go any higher. I do not know what to do... should I leave and drop down for farming? Or should I stay and try to push? If I should keep pushing, what advice would you have to help make me more successful in my raids? If I should farm, what should I do? I am only level 46 now and still got quite a bit of upgrading to do... :/

I also have been trying to save up dark elixir for that barb king but it looks as though I got to get to crystal to speed that up...

Pushing for a Town Hall 7 is soley for personal satisfaction, not to get far. I made it to 1948 as a maxed Town Hall 7, however you should find a different clan that allows farming and ocassional pushing, as you'll be able to upgrade a lot faster (may I suggested the Iced clan? ;) ). Good luck!!

I am not satisfied at all. I really want to farm again... I just don't know what trophy range to drop to or what to even do.

Silver 1 - Gold 3 is a good range for Town Hall 7 farming. Once you get higher level defenses (you're a little premature) and start to upgrade to level 4 troops, then you should try to push again -- you'll have a lot

Okay I'll try that out.

Would it be a bad idea to try out that very low trophy strategy (like 160 trophies) if it does not go well?

Congrats on combining pushing and farming! It is my personal preference too as a TH 7 to push/farm simultaneously although since the update TH sniping has died way down (and I have been falling LOL).

If you like pushing but find it diificult right now, I'd go for the farming angle but don't drop trophies just to get to a range. Use those trophies to find nice collector raids and add a little league bonus as well. Just go for it regardless of stars when you see a solid raid with good loot. Eventually you will probably start to find a range where your base defense, attacks for stars, and your farming kind of naturally float.

I wouldn't put too much pressure on yourself at TH 7. Lots of growing to do and it all takes time so finding another clan could simply be part of that growth if you find yourself heading down from Gold.

Either way, have fun and great job keeping your builders very busy.:cool:

I have not personally ever tried sub-200 farming, but that's your personal decision to try or not. I'm not sure how well that will work for you. Everybody has different experiences down there.
