Clan War talks and thoughts

So yeah! after the first Clan War, are you going to another one because I think it's just a waste of time if you go for it with people you don't know. While we were in the preparation day someone just spammed us by donating level 2 goblins! WTH!! serusli!! okey we are losing so horribly for 48 to 72 so yeah I think this well be the first and last clan war I'll play unless they give us the choice to decide who will be in the war and the ability to dump the troops on the clan castle and choose what to dump and what to keep.

so this is all about my opinion I'd love to hear from you guy what you think, how to choose the clan to be with, do you enjoy the clan war and so on...

Why not, the clan has nothing to lose

Im just curious why my clan mostly received giants and archers while my opponents had Dragons, Pekkas and wizards. That seemed a little unfair.

Well for us on Prep Day we didn't let anyone join. We made sure we put the requested troops in all the bases before we started accepting new members.

Except the war.

The war takes over clan chat, your messaging app, and your base.

You have to re-arrange your base twice (unless you have a transformer in which case +1).
You have to train troops specifically for CW.
You can't use heroes if they are upgrading.
If you lose the war, your clan loses morale and all the Elixir/DE put into the war effort.

All of a sudden you have something to lose:rolleyes:

Putting the numerous bugs floating around aside, war is supposed to be an ugly thing. I think this update simulates how going to war is so costly and unpredictable. My clan has a lot of people from different time zones, so it was pretty funny how I went to sleep with the clan losing then waking up to having more stars. I like this update, and I'll like it more when they get fixed. :p

And yes, I wasted a lot of resources. But I quickly got it all back.

We were facing a German clan. I went to sleep with our clan winning 75-11 and then woke up to a 85-40. Shows what happens with the time zone changes. Either way, we are still creaming them;) Poor clan had no chance. Their bases were FAR weaker than ours:eek:

I definitely prefer it this way. Safe farming is cool and all, but some high stakes reinforce the clan's efforts and communication for the best interests of everyone involved. :o
