Did the release of CW kill TH sniping?

Trying to climb back up to gold 1 to farm some DE and can't find any town halls that can be sniped, all of them are inside the base. :confused:

With clan wars, everybody is putting their th inside, so i suppose yes

It quite the update, that's for sure.

I have pounded some some fat TH9 hybrid bases in Gold I at the loot cap in all resources that are rather curious finds IMO.

My th is sitting in a corner surrounded by decorations saying please attack me like normal. Yesterday was a diff story though.

in my opinion, its pointless putting the town hall inside. they arent any more or less likely to get a 3 star... do what i did - tesla/mortar/xbow/trap the c-to-the-proverbial-rap out of your town hall!

Maybe not for cup hunting, but if you put your townhall outside, when you are farming, you will most likely get a free 12-hour shield, which will protect your ressources for another 12 hours. Simple, right? ;)

Agreed its tough to 3 star and decent base unless your amassing an expensive army. Putting the th outside in CW makes for easy 2 stars.

Not at all.

The key is to have a transformer base that you can swap TH out quickly. Make the switch an hour or two before the CW starts and then after it has started move the TH back outside.

I like seeing town halls inside bases. Makes getting to higher leagues actually an achievement now. Overtime now hopefully all the TH6s will leave crystal now.

If you regularly farm with a barch army, then elixir isn't really a cost for you. My clan is doing a lot of mass dragon attacks and getting quite a few 3 stars.

For a few weeks, then people will probably go to farm bases full time until they come up with a solution.

I just keep finding TH9's with a hybrid layout and 350K/350K/2.5K ......active bases with at least capped out dark storages are making up the majority of my farming attacks.

Well couple hrs later I'm in gold 2, yes its that bad. Thank goodness for hybrid bases where I can easily swap TH in/out. Hope clan wars dies a fast and painful death :mad:
