I was wondering, what farmers gonna do now?
Im farming at TH9, trying to max my walls and defs but its gonna be harder now. I wanna keep farming, not stay always in CW condition (def). What should we do?

Carry on farming, no one is forcing u into CW and its only 2 raids if u do.
Start the clanwar during a time when you can be online to swap from farming to defense as prep day ends. Then swap back as war day starts. For a farmer clanwar does offer a change of pace and if you win you can score nice loot in two raids. Train troops when you are afk anyway so it does not really interfere with your farming.
I sort of agree with you. I for one hate redesigning bases. And I won't be redesigning my base every time there is a CW. Wish there was a way to opt out of CW without having to leave your clan or drop to the lowest amount of trophies in the clan.
Im farming with a hybrid antihog base, all is well for me.
I won a clanwar defense on my Mini, even with the TH outside.

Ive been keeping a hybrid base and helping out with my 2 attacks in clan wars, you also get an average of 600k loot for 2 raids, which might replace the ressources you had if you get 3 starred ;) farming is still the same as it was before

I've used a hybrid base all throughout th8 and th9 that I designed myself. I rarely trophy pushed, and when I did it was mostly attacking anyway. The rest of the time I was getting sniped in Gold 1, 2, or 3. So I just pop townhall inside and move a few building around that are upgrading in my "real" village. Then I moved them all back after battle day started.
Just don't hit the SCOUT button on Battle Day!
Clan Wars has been a ton of fun, despite bugs. Once they work that out it will continue to be sweet.
Because of the SCOUT glitch, I did leave townhall inside for a little too long, and lost 2400 dark elixir, so I made some farmer happy :) Lesson learned.
