I think a thread titled "don't scout" should be sticked on the forums with a brief explanation - I was bugged terribly for a bit but stopped scouting and everything started working just fine.

im attacking a normal base not in a cw then i dropped my 2 hogs and archer to lure the troops in his cc then suddenly the view change, im going to attack a enemy in cw.. wth is that i lost 23 cups..

Also, its been known that what you attack other war base with is your current "village army" including your own village CC troops and Spells. We get an awesome update in a long while, which is quite well thought out IMO, except for a feel flaws (which could be worked on later), so just chill your ♥♥♥♥ and enjoy whats given. :rolleyes:

For me, rebuilding my regular village on war day did not work the first time. The game froze. Had to restart it and build the base all over.
Then when I attacked my first enemy, my clan castle contained the troops from my regular castle, NOT the war castle.
My second attack, the same clan castle bug occured, but in addition, both of my heroes were suddenly not ready...I was lucky to get 2 stars on the last attack...
Last night, my clan got stuck on prep day like several thousand others, and one of our members didn't even show up on our war map before battle day. None of us were able to donate any troops to him during prep.

I do not understand how Supercell could not have discovered these huge flaws before release. I am not saying I could have done it any better, and I am not angry. I am just a little disappointed.

Thanks for the heads up on that one. It says that upgrading buildings are available. So you would think that Heores would be too.

This is NOT a bug, it is working as intended. You should read the notes carefully. Your attacking army comes from your REGULAR VILLAGE. Your war base is ONLY USED FOR DEFENSE.

Yes, they are available, ONLY in the WAR BASE for DEFENSE, not for OFFENSE.

All,of which I understand...now. But, and this is what irritates me. If a hero is unavailable from the village, it cannot be used in attack, but it can be for defence. What? This is possibly the most obvious ploy SC has yet pulled to encourage gemming of heroes. Want to attack in battle? Oh dear, heroes are down. Hmmm...what to do...?

and FYI, the prep day stopped here at 2am. Am I supposed to set may alarm to reconfigure base each time? Nope.

and hyped excitement about the new features prevented me from seeing what I did not expect to see. It isn't a stupid post, it is simply highlighting a strange feature of the game.

Don't you think if they wanted to encourage gemming, they would make your war base NOT automatically replenish itself after every battle?.
