I 2 starred the recommended guy with loonions. I didn't have to use heroes, but I did use spells. My minions will be lvl 5 in less than 10 days, so that will help.
I messed up on 1st attack but got a 1 star
2nd attack I wiped them out with a 3star VicVic
A reduction is time won't allow some players to prepare due to work, sleep, schooling, etc. The one day seems fine to me and allows me to schedule around the time my war days will be.Quote:

So far Crimson is ahead of British Allies by a TINY bit but they could easily pull it out and make a sudden easy comeback.
So far I've attacked once. I went in thinking I would have my upgrading queen to work with so I could 3 star my target. Had to take a 2 star with a maxed GoWiWi + level 30 BK because I didn't have my Queen. :(
Clan wars is definitely more challenging, which is a good thing. Because the heroes are constantly awake and there is always good cc troops in the castle (assuming you're facing an active clan). I've been using mainly mass drag with some archers, hogs, and barbs. Got a 2 star for my first attack that would've been a 3 star if it had been a normal battle without crazy cc troops + heroes XD
I 3 starred with all goblins. No big deal:cool:
A typical work day is 8 hrs not including breaks.. So if they start work before prep day begins.. They wont finish until after war has begun if it is an 8 hr prep time..Quote:

I'm a brand new town hall 8 with my lab still upgrading so all lvl 4 troops. I picked a premie town hall 9 with crummy air defense but 2 xbows (luckily pointed down) and hope to go after him with a balloon, dragon, minion combo, challenge will be to kill his archer queen and few air defenses with a couple giants, wiz and barb king plus cc is not lurable so i have to bring a lightning just in case its all archers =/ (though it only has 15 slots ♥♥♥♥ very premie).

Overall, I love the clan wars, there are still some that needs adjustments.

Same as you guys, really enjoying it. Adds a huge extra layer to the game.
It's been said before but upgrading Heroes has been the decider in quite a few battles. Hope that changes.

My clan just wasted 10 attacks 1 starring the same guy over and over and 4 attacks 100%ing another person over and over. Smh :mad:

It is pretty much over in my first war. Other clan matched was super premie and don't know how to attack. They got only 1 3-star and all other attacks were 0-1 star... My clan was quite prepared with a battle plan and everything, so we have triple their stars so far and increasing... We got almost 2+ stars on all enemy bases and still 1/3 of attacks remaining.
I didn't do well personally. 1 star first battle due to BK upgrading, and I dropped spells too early. 2 star barely for the 2nd battle due to bad rage placement (also no BK). I need practice in GoWiWiPe!

Already leading after 41 attacks vs theirs of 66 attacks, and majority of our big guns havent fired yet, while theirs already spent their attacks.
Our clan is winning lots of defenses, despite still have 18 ths outside. One th8 won five defenses and finally took a 31 lvl 5 hogs to get 2 starred.
My base hasnt even been touched so far.
Because my heroes are upgrading, I decided to go with loonions, managed to 2 star and 1 star two maxed th9s.
Clan war is pretty exciting so far, had to wake up middle in the night to attack and to post!
Not impressed. Half of my clan can't even scout( including me) let alone attack. The enemy clan had a level 87 crystal 2 with many maxed troops wipe out a level 47 silver in my clan.
Personally . I think its a bummer, but hopefully posters on here can re educate me!

I attacked with my Mini now as well and two starred the enemy clan leader. (a TH7 like my Mini).
Yes !
I three starred now their best player with my main and two-starred their clan leader with my Mini.
I hope this helps to boost morale in my team :)

The other clan we're pretty smart, and all their top guys are now destroying our top guys. While people in our clan were just attacking anyone they thought they could destroy...fail.

So we are definitely the underdog in our battle - it's a mix of TH9 down to TH5 but they definitely have more TH8s and 9s than us. Unfortunately some of our mid level players - TH7s mostly attacked almost immediately against the weak bases getting easy 3 stars on TH6s and the TH5. Which of course screwed our lower level players since the only attacks left were pretty much out of their league.
For my own attacks I got 2 3 stars against 2 of the enemy town hall 8s with primarily air attacks - dragons plus balloons and a few ground troops to take out poorly protected air defenses and to kill clan troops.
We are currently down 76 to 80 but we have a couple big guns left and the enemy clan appears to be taking a long break so we shall see. We have a shot at pulling the upset if our last guys can do some clutch raids on tough bases.
All in all the experience has been completely awesome. So much excitement in the clan. The bugs were a little annoying and the 0 second one really messed me up because I went back to my farming base and got stuck with my base in farming mode for the war :rolleyes:
I'm a noob! I got a two-star on one of the opponents best players and then failed miserably luring CC because I wasn't given the Scout option. If I had Scouted I would have known the CC range and would have dropped troops accordingly. One Giant popped out and i put a few more barbs in the same exact spot and nothing.....I thought "wow my lucky day!" and right after that attack starts out comes a Drag:(:mad:
At least I was able to salvage a one star so I didn't fail but that just sucked:(
Yeah, it is a bit of a contingency we have to deal with until they fix the bug. Luckily I memorized the range of my objective's Clan Castles on the Preparation Day (the Scouting button worked then), so I didn't have any trouble luring the CC troops to their doom.Quote:

thats because all of your clan can see your replay and you have to show them that you know something about how to attack n how to play :D
We're a clan of TH 7 and TH 8 players mostly, with some early TH 9's and we've got easy matches so far- fairly active clans but lacking on strategy. First war (45v45) we won 96:60, with many of the guys barely having any experience in trophy attacks. Three hours left of our second war now (50v50), with a little bit more experience this time, we're leading 120:57 and could've done even better (it was like 111:57 when we stopped caring about the score and many went to snipe enemy #1 player's exposed town hall just for the loot of it). Quite happy with my clan so far! :)
But their attacking skills sucked and we won by 19 stars despite having 11 fewer attacks.
Our second war pitched us against a much more powerful Chinese hardcore farming clan.
We lost by 21 stars, but had only 67 attacks vs their of 85.
We must get rid of our inactives.
I'm the leader and have the highest base and troops, so I have to fight their top 2 bases by default.
As a farmer, it's difficult adjusting to the shift. I've had two wars and 4 attacks and they went like this:
- 3 Star Victory
- 49% Loss
- 1 Star Victory
- 1 Star Victory
So yeah it's been rough. We have won both of our wars however.
We have 0 maxed bases, by maxed I mean everything, even walls, two of the three clans we have faced have had 10-30 maxed bases.Quote:

They are still mighty advanced:rolleyes: Many of the clans you face are top clans which basically means they are gemming their bases. They have a huge advantage with both pushing experience and will to spend $$$. Seeing as y'all are still winning is impressive in my eyes:cool:Quote:
