Gold Farming - TH 9 vs TH 10

Hello everyone,

I am now contemplating upgrading from TH 9 to TH 10. I have all lego walls and heroes at lvl 14/15. I still have about 1 month of defensive upgrades and 6 weeks of lab research. My main concern is the efficiency of gold farming. I want to someday farm lava walls. I can currently farm 2m/hr with BAM and hog/healers.

My question:

1) How fast can you farm at TH 10 (with and without boosts)?
2) What army composition does gold farming entail?
3) Should I upgrade my TH (given that my long-term goal is to farm lava walls)?

P.S. Clan Wars is the reason why I am now contemplating this upgrade... I really want access to those infernos and additional camps/spells.

1. How much gold at either TH9/10 really depends on army/activity, so it is very subjective, so it depends on hours
2. Barch is popular, also depends on how bad u need elixir
3. If you want to have all level 10 walls and you dont have all level 9 and max TH9 defenses, dont. Also, upgrading TH will mean tougher opponents too

Exact same situation here. Fully maxed TH 9, almost half legos and I'd like to farm lavas one day, Queen lvl 14, King lvl 15.
With Clan Wars, I'm thinking about upgrading to get those 20 spaces, freeze spell, this awesome-looking 35 space CC, and the infernos...

I'm farming in low cristal 3, BAMing, and I can only get 1M/hour (and around ~5 to 7k DE/hour). What trophy level are you at, I'd love to get 2M/hour ? Thanks !

Boost all four barracks and one dark for Bam. Boost all six for hog/healer (Unity sharp's strat)

BAM from 1700-1900
Hog/Healer 1800-2000

you should upgrade th or you will fall behind defensive upgrades wise
full skull is all you need for th 10!
gold farming is considerabley slower at th 10 (reccomend doing defences first though)

I forgot to mention this in the opening post... but I am NOT maxed out defenses yet. In fact, I probably still have about 1-2 months of upgrades left.

look at your log and just multiply th8 loot by 50% and th9 by 10%. + 33% increase in search costs. That's your gph as a th10.
