Disappointed with the stuff at level 6 so not messing about level 7 will increase troops levels ,barb king for attack and defence better loads more cool stuff check out epic clan, I go by big T but feel like little t going up against guys with loads of Xp but not many trophies I reached 1232 trophies just using level 3 barb,gobs,archers and 6 wb my Xp is 40 and I think it's so high due to I donate in excess of 1000 troops a week.
Level 7 is worth it just for the extra barracks.
Go to TH 7. Max your offense there ASAP, then slow down and enjoy the loots. :)

My honest advice to anyone: stay at the current level of your Town Hall until you have done this 3 things:
1. upgraded defenses at the max level your current level allows
2. researched EVERYTHING you can at max Laboratory level
3. upgraded walls at the max level your current Town Hall level allows
If you skip one of this steps, it would be harder for you, cos you will now be profitable and people will throw better troops at your base, and depending on cups or luck I guess you will get into better defended bases so your income will drop too.
Oh, you can say good bye to picking on juicy Town Hall level 5 as of your jump to level 7 will give you a nice 50% in loot penalty. :p
I personally think maxing everything out per TH is better but it's your choice.
Maxing out Town Hall 7 takes eons... maxing out Town Hall 6 however is a lot easier. Because there's so much available at Town Hall 7 (the biggest step up imho), from experience, I found that maxing out at Town Hall 6 (apart from pink walls) set me up really well for the massive upgrade at Town Hall 7.
It's your choice, but that's my thought.

Me bring a maxed out TH9, even walls, I can say from my experience that I would max every town hall. I don't think jumping to TH7 would be wise, but then again, it is your account not mine
