Game CAN Break, But Don't Panic! It Can Be Fixed
I'm seeing a lot of threads here with people who are confused as to what's going on with their games suddenly not functioning.

If you are having any of the following issues, the magical cure-all is restarting the game. Note: The bug can happen multiple times. Do not expect restarting the game to fix it forever. It's only temporary.

I'll embellish on everything I know so far:
- It seems to be a glitch to do with Clan Wars(I.e. if you don't hit the CW button, you won't have the issue)
- It only seems to be on War Day, as no issues occurred on prep day
- It may or may not be a single bug. I have yet to find the exact cause, but I do know it has to do with something within the CW menu. UPDATE: It seems to be the scout button
What this bug does:
- It prevents the training of troops and spells
- It prevents scouting war bases, friendly or foe
- It visually freezes all countdowns: barracks, spell camp, and "next request" on CC. Unknown if it affects normal building upgrades. NOTE: It is only a visual glitch. The counters actually keep going.
- Makes you unable to use builders, request for troops, donate, visit, collect from mines/collectors/pumps, and attack CW bases
What you can still do:
- Attack normally
- Talk in chat
- Access menus
- Watch replays(Includes CW replays)
Edit: A mod might want to temporarily sticky this so people stop flipping out.

It's not a bug!

There is no "bug" at all, actually. The servers are simply overloaded right now because everyone and their kitchen sink are active in clan wars at the same time. It's a lot for the servers to process -- the software is working just fine.

It will probably improve on it's own in 2-3 hours when people have begun to give up and move on to other activities.

I believe it is a bug. People in my clan only experience the freezing if they click on the CW button. If, since loading up the game, they have not done so, then there is no freezing.

This is because the clan wars functions are the ones that are overloaded with requests. So just tapping the CW button leads your client into the delay and latency issues that we are seeing.

It will be better in a couple of hours when people start to give up and move on with their lives.

This thing makes me have my 'train troops' button and 'donate' button and some other ones freeze entirely.. If it would be a latency issue it would just be laggy, so yes i believe its a bug.

That would only be true if Clan Wars was run through a separate server(s) than the normal ones. It is entirely possible, but as neither of us know, it would be best to not make assumptions.
