If you have two attacks and are attacking the same base twice, it would be hard not to total that to 3 stars. If everyone in a 30vs30 clan did that wouldnt they easily get 90 stars each?

Well no not really you have to take into account how strong bases are.
It only counts the best attack.
It will be harder then you think to get all 90 stars, especially if you are in a higher level clan
