That's true, but you have to keep in mind that they are trying to match you up with a fair fight. That way both clans have a chance to actually win

I think he might have meant that 24 hour prep time is too long when all you really have to do is organize your base and fill war CC.

I like the look of it
as I was in bottom 5 i got left out of the war

Indeed seems long when you think about the small amount of work needed by an individual player in Prep Phase. But the 24hr period account for the fact that all members may not be in the same timezone. It gives everyone a chance to get in and makes their changes. Same with war day being 24hrs.
