Clan Wars Spies?

If they want to waste their time "scouting" 50 enemy bases...so be it. Seems like an incredible waste of time.

Guys, it's called Clan WARS lol. Welcome to a small model of what goes on in real life. Prepare your strike, coordinate with others, and be careful of spies.

In our clan we solve this problem by simply closing it for recruitment during the war days. ;)

That is a great tactic and that sucks for whoever did that... We had 1 guy join right after we started a battle but he didn't do anything to us... I'll have to be sure to be more careful

Clan wars will being running every 2 days. Not viable.

I believe that new members to a clan from AFTER the war has started do not participate in that war and so cannot donate to THAT war.

As for these "phantom" donations, many clans are having this problem. Not sure if there's just excited young kids in the clans, trolls, or if the game is buggered and making them appear on their own. In our clan all the castles were full of junk as soon as we started the war.

If our clan starts a war, and someone joins the clan AFTER we hit start (let's say middle of preparation day), I understand they cannot participate. But can they scout our War Bases? I know they can see our regular base, but will they be able to see Clan Castle Troops in the war base to potentially report back to their clan?
I was hoping to avoid setting and resetting the clan entry requirements every time we go to war, but we already had a player who came right after we started a Clan War and acted very fishy, asking questions, etc, then left.

The moral of the story is not to accept new clan members after you get matched. Else you may have gobs in your cc and all your traps exposed.

Heh, we totally saw these coming and changed the clan entry to "Invitation Only" before the update even happened. It really paid off when one silly guy from the enemy side (the strongest base holder) actually tried to join us to spy. Great moment.
