Clan Wars Spies?

I don't have a second account, and I don't want to leave my clan, so I haven't been able to answer this question for myself.
If our clan starts a war, and someone joins the clan AFTER we hit start (let's say middle of preparation day), I understand they cannot participate. But can they scout our War Bases? I know they can see our regular base, but will they be able to see Clan Castle Troops in the war base to potentially report back to their clan?
I was hoping to avoid setting and resetting the clan entry requirements every time we go to war, but we already had a player who came right after we started a Clan War and acted very fishy, asking questions, etc, then left.

I was wondering if the people who joined on prep day can donate troops to clan wars. We had someone fill up our war bases with a bunch of junk and someone suggested might be a spy implanted to mess us up.

It would make sense if after Clan Wars was started when a new person joined the waring clan that the view a base switched from "clan member" view to "visitor" view. This would help stop spying. I know my clan mates are freaking out about this.

That's a great idea! We also set ours to invite only (after the fact) and in the future will not let anyone new in while participating in clan war.

All is far in love an war? This includes sabotage and spying. Sounds like you need counter intelligence.

If this is an idea, or have an idea to stop this, Post it in Ideas and feature requests, as I assume you would like this to not happen?

More curious what they can see and do, before I have a suggestion. If they can't donate garbage to clan castles, and if they can't see clan castle troops, then I don't have an issue.
