Clan wars loot

I was just wondering... What would happen if the loot we gain during clan wars exceeds the storage limit of the clan castle? For eg, my clan castle can hold 200k gold, 200k elixir and 500 DE, what would happen if I manage to make 300k gold and elixir and 600 DE? Will that extra loot be lost?

I think the loot will be lost, because thats the max amount of resources you can hold.

Thanks for the reply. Also, does the storage limit increase as we upgrade our clan castle?

yes, my Clan castle is at L4 and it holds 700k gold/elx and 2k DE.
