Village Attacked question

Hi,

Can someone please explain how, when my village is attacked and only my town hall destroyed and the total damage 3%, it registers as 'your defense lost' and my shield is activated? Am I missing something in how the system works??

Idk how the system works. Maybe a sticky could help us both out.

1 star = loss of town hall
2 star = 50% loss of overall village (1st 2 stars are inter changeable)
3 star = 100% destruction of your village

12 hour shield is activated at 1 star or 40% destruction of your village

16 hour shield is activated at 90% loss of your village

to gain trophies your town hall is the most important building. For farming for resources most players dont defend their town hall so they can get a quick shield to stop further attacks on their village.

When you destroy a town hall that AUTOMATICALLY gives your opponent a star REGARDLESS of the destroyed percentage. One star from town hall, another if you destroy 50% of a base and the third for 100% destroyed.

So if some with op lightning spells took out a town hall, just an example, that person would get a 12 hr shield?

And one important thing, as long as the attacker has one star, he wins.

4 max level lightning spell can't take out a town hall.

Find a better example.

Just any unit/spells, as long as your townhall is destroyed, the attacker wins.

If the town hall is the 50% destroyed building, you will be given 2 stars.

I'll answer b/c sandalhat is a newb. But yes, in this instance that person would get a 12 hr shield.

1 star = TH destroyed/50% of town destroyed
2 star = TH and 50% destroyed
3 star = 100% destroyed

think this is clearer than the other one
