Dark Elixir Farming for TH 9 - Looking for Tips

Hello,

I am currently a TH 9, and I recently finished my lego walls. I have a level 15 BK/ level 14 AQ, and I want to focus on dark elixir for a little while.

I have three options at the moment: Balloonion in high crystal, Giant/Healer in mid crystal, or BAM in low crystal.

What would you all recommend? I would really be interested in hearing from some current TH 9 players (or previous TH 9 DE farmers). I am hoping to average 10k+ DE per hour.

P.S. I am willing to boost ANY buildings (barracks, SF, heroes)

I'd go Giant/Healer in mid crystal. Not enough DE in low C, imo. You want to make sure you get to the middle where DE is most likely to be.

10K is super ambitions, even at 5 attacks per hour, that's still 2k each, plus a bit of loot bonus

I am a townhall 8 using loonions and it is working great, if you find a decent base with 1k + then it can add up quick, moving to towhall 9 now so im hopingt oget 62500 t oget my archer queen and level her up

Thanks for the replies. I'll try the giant/healer, but problem is that I am very unfamiliar with that army comp. Anyone have any tips or videos for that in specific?

im farming DE with 16-20-24 balloon / rest minions netting 40-60k a day , i prefer the 20 loon/ 60 minion variation
Both of my heroes are upgrading non-stop currently ( both upgrading to lvl 16 and started golems lvl 2 ) easily try as hard as you can to use one rage or heal spell per raid , i farm de at 2200-2600 i search for 2.5k de per raid adding atleast 100 de loot bonus its 2k de nets , i do raid 20-30 time a day i get 4-10 raids 3k+ de , and 1-2 4k+ and i have 30 remaining lego , aiming to get my both heroes to 20 before th10

Few tips
Always try to get 50% or two stars but its ok to lose some cups on a big raid
You should get 2-4mil a day even if you dont go for gold loot bonus adds up
Keep the spell usuage minimum

im exactly like the OP now, finished lv9 walls and currently farming DE, i need tips too, my King and Queen are both lv 15.

I use 22 Lv6 Balloons, and 55 minions, 2 healing and, 2 rages spells, i dont always use the spells though

For any th9 with good troops i would suggest gold1/crystal3 atm, I am there now while pushing further and all I am finding is 1-3k DE and 300-400k elixer and gold, all storages, so not for BAM or Barch what I take with me, but for the th9-10 with maxed troops, they are easy for lots of loot

Loons + minions = de usage

i used to farm this way at crystal's, earned 40k de per day - but that's not the gross value - one must understand that
u use de troops, so ur "clean" farm is lower than in statistics

now I'm in gold league (between III and II)
Using giants, bombers+barchers
+healing or rage spells if necessary

get 45-50k per day (gross value) and don't be bothered

hey guys, since the clan wars update, a lot of people changed their bases and you know what, they even put their DE storage outside or its too exposed. i just use barching and take all of the DE. :o i even got a base with 4k de and his de storage and drills are completely outside but the attack long ago, it disappear on the attack log.
