Saving base layouts for clan wars

How was this not accomplished during the update already? It needs to be done asap, where there are several slots to switch back and forth in base designs with one single click. I'd like the option to have at least 5 base layout slots to save particular designs in.

1 farming
2 trophy push
3 hybrid
4 clan war design
5th is for other/experimenting


Seems pretty optimal to me.

It is not efficient at all to have to switch base layouts several times a week, fix this supercell. People have been requesting for this over a month at least.

The biggest event since the game was introduced and you're going to complain because you didn't get the option to have 5 bases on hand at the click of a button?

My bro-in-law was talking about it today, I agree. I change my base layout so often it would be pretty darn handy to have this kind of feature.

Could supercell perhaps not have the memory capacity to accommodate such demands? If any of you knew how massively played games worked, you would understand this. Buy more gems if you want memory capacity boosts. Seriously, all the memory upgrades were put into this major update....for you rich kids.....wanna donate supercell a 40k mass storage???? please????

Yeah, we may not need 5. Having one for war and one for regular clan seems like it should be a given really...

You're not understanding the simple logic shaded trees is laying at your feet.
Okay I'll spell it out for you. To store all the information going on in the game, SuperCell has to store all of this information that you generate on your little hand held device on massive storage devices. You're not storing it, SuperCell is. You don't have a large enough drive in your phone or ipod or whatever. And that's why you can't play a complex game like this offline. Their FREE servers allow you to play the game.
So now we introduce a game within a game (Clan Wars) to satisfy the number one demand of Clashers. What is your reaction? Why can't you make it easier for me to switch bases?
So now they have to store all the information from all the clan wars from across the world they should also devote some server space for your "need" for bases? Do you see where I"m going here?
Look - a hybrid base is specifically meant to bridge the gap for need of trophy/farming. So you're down to one there. Clan war bases should be pretty much trophy bases (hard to get trophies) so let's eliminate that, you already have that in your hybrid. Last, you want a base design to experiment with. You want the company funding your free gaming to keep expensive server space for your experimental base?
It's your game dude, go experiment. It's the very basis of the game for that kind of thing. It's why it's so popular. To suggest any game has an obligation to keep track of your every personal need suggests you need to go to PC gaming. Far more resources on a computer to keep your own data.
Shaded Trees tried to help you see that. he/she used the term "memory" but it's more "mass storage" and they are expensive. Google it and look at prices. You'd be surprised at how much server time a game like this requires and I am really impressed at how reliable the game is. You should be too.

Another problem that I see is that say you have BASEa for clan wars and BASEb for farming/pushing. Obstacles like trees, gem boxes, bushes, etc. spawn sporadically in open areas. BASEa and BASEb have different layouts meaning that there are different areas in where an obstacle can appear. If said obstacle appears in an area where BASEa had free, but BASEb had a cannon, let's say, then having a saved base doesn't really matter.

However, this can easily be remedied by having a worker clear that obstacle before you can switch to the other layout. Just something I randomly thought of.

I agree that we should be able to save our base layouts because I can not be bothered to constantly switch out my base because it is clan wars now I have just kept my base a trophy base because of this and because I have kept It this way I have been losing a lot of loot because I am a farmer so I strongly suggest to put saved base layouts in your next update it will make your users very happy.

Make a hybrid base :D

However I heard of a tweak named AutoTouch for JBed users that you can record and play finger taps and swipes. You might want to give it a shot.
