I'm not understanding something??

How exactly are the people who participate in clan wars selected?? All I could find online were questions from daddy to Supercell asking pretty much the same thing i'm asking. They said it was based of off the strongest 30 bases, and refused to elaborate further. Well my clan only has 17 of us and it is most defiantly NOT based of the strongest. Our highest player in terms of trophies is excluded in the war. And one of our players with the lowest defenses is participating in the war. I know not all clans have to participate in clan wars but it would make things so much easier if our leader could pick who is in the war, even if he has a limited pick.

Also our opponent clan completely out levels us by at least 2 us in almost every single defense, it's a totally one sided war, but this update just came out, so I didn't expect matchmaking to be perfect.

Currently the matchmaking system isn't perfect. give it some time and they will work it out

All in all, it's a great update, and I've been having alot of fun, plus it's encouraged me further to spend a little cash on gems, just to stay ahead of my friends xD

Your highest player either was not in the clan when the CW was initiated, or had previously been in a clan and been included in a CW.

I don't think so, she's been with us since we made the clan. We all know each other in real life. And she was defiantly with us during the update.
