before logging out....?

I know that I have linked my base to my g+ accnt. It was done a long time ago... how do i make sure that my current base is in there. I will be doing a factory reset on my phone. I need to do this because my phone has been increasing lag. I have an older razr maxx and really there is no way to confirm that my current village is back up. How, Where? can i get some peace of mind before proceeding?

the factory reset should be discussed on a different forum but your village should be backed up if it is linked to google+
