Your "even" matchmaking is seriously flawed lol

I am Ricky from cavebears and i must say I enjoyed a lot this first round of clan wars.
I think u had some good and some bad attacks, just like we have. We are winning but it was very fun for both, I think.
I do agree we are a bit ahead from you on our average stats, and this diff its also very understandable to exist, considering clan wars is just starting.

Despite the difference i think u could've done better, as mendicus said in one of his coments, he could've used his spells and cc troops better.
Not only you, we could've do better, for sure we had our mistakes.

But i think learning its an important part of this game, that includes dealing with stronger, equal or weaker opponents. For each we might have some certain strategy.

Again, i hope u enjoyed as much as i did...

Kind words and we appreciate that. I enjoy we can communicate too. We both def had some failed attacks. How can I put this though without sounding like a ♥♥♥♥... Imagine we're both at a casino for the first time, a 2day trip. We're getting dealt ♥♥♥♥ cards while you're next to us getting dealt Ace King in blackjack every hand. We lost all our money on the first day. Now you just made this post, you just leaned over and said shame you didn't play that hand better but hey I'm having a lot of fun!!! Overall we're enjoying the free drinks and our first trip to a casino. But it left a bad taste in our mouths. We hope we have better luck with the matchup next war.

edit: I did have fun attacking someone 15 levels below me for 3-star. Just like you prob enjoyed attacking players 19 and 12 levels below yourself. Gonna test my skill on someone 6levels below me soon.

Ours seemed to come out about as even as it possibly could.

The only thing I'm not sure about is how rushed th 10's are being rated. Sure, their overall defenses may be a lower lvl, but even lvl 1 infernos can make their base a lot harder to 3 star than a close to maxed th 9. I'm speaking from the perspective of a th 9 without freeze.

In all honesty i feel like your th's were better than most of ours in defences and some people including myself dont normally go in on those type of defences. This i think was a big step for our clan honeslty i think anyways. Anyways it was fun and a very fun experince in a way for us too get better for our next war. :)

Our first match was so one sided. They were easily 3 starring our top players, all of them, and we could not 3 star any of their top players if we had to. What value are you giving to Walls? I think you may have over rated them when the other guys are using hogs and heals to jump them. Terrible.

Just started our second war and this looks way more evenly matched, we might even have the edge, but this war is at least up to us if we win or lose and for me that is how it should be. Didn't matter what we did against cavebears we would never have won.

That's not entirely correct..

Sure we had some stronger bases but all our clan tried to match to your equivalent bases...in the second attack some of us even tried to go for higher bases..in the end I understand your frustration but I think things will get better (match making wise) in time..

I think you guys gave it a good shake towards the end given the strength of both clans..

You were nowhere near humiliated, good luck with your next match guys. :)

Ours was also a complete mismatch. 20 TH10s against 30.... Their top 5 all had maxed defences and heroes, while nobody in my clan does. We had no chance of winning.

63-36 to us. They didn't even attack our tope two players

We have a pretty good match. They are nearly all premmie with bad base design, but they have more TH10s with more inferos, and their top 10 are really good. I'd be surprised if we didn't win but we can definitely still lose as their attack power is clearly just as good or better than ours.
