I already asked the question when I started this thread it's the first post.

its a statement/request, do you wear a helmet?
I agree that this is important. As mentioned I'm in preparation day and had set up a war base and then my resources got housed.
During prep day your regular base should stay intact and available to attack, just as you can attack others, but you should be able to prepare a war base on the side that will go into effect once battle day starts.
So if the OP had just stated his issue in the form of a question like...
Why did Supercell set up clan wars so that we'd have to constantly change our bases each week?
and then went on with the rest of his statement...
You guys wouldn't be trolling him right now?
Bottom line. This is an issue. It is an issue for many people, both new and veteran. It is discussed in multiple threads. There are absolutely problems with Supercell's implementation of this new addition to the game.
Could everyone run a hybrid or transformer base that minimized the time they spent each week making tedious adjustments month after month and avoid the trouble of truly having a normal game set up and a clan wars setup? Yes.
Should they have to do that? No.
The simple addition of a separate 'location' to construct your clan wars build or the ability to click a button and save your clan wars layout at any point in time during the 24 hour preparation period would easily solve this. It would prevent a ton of problems and make this aspect of the game far more appealing to a far larger group of players.
Bump bump bump
This issue is very simple to resolve...
We could save 2 or more bases...
The Village Editor could have 2 or more slots so save different type of bases.
At least, a normal base and the war base. :D
Supercell, I think this isn't too difficult to create...
