Makes people have to decide to stay loyal to clan to mitigate stars lost or protect their own resources. It also allows more opportunity to "Next" and find HUGE loots with all resources outside base. It's a major game changer. It is also going to bring out major flaws in clan members that are clueless of game play. Is this Supercells reaction to TH's outside base and free shields?

There is no issue with the fact that you need to change your base before and after each clan war. I get it would be a pain but I can deal with it. The real issue is the fact that your base is the same in clan war as it is in normal battle. I have 18 hours left of prep. day, I am going to build my base with the TH centralized and my storages/collectors outside of my walls; since the storages do not matter in clan wars this is how most people will be setting up their base. The problem is that for the next 18 hours I am vulnerable to attack on my storages.
It doesn't make any sense for supercell to not give you the option of having 2 bases. How am I suppose to build my base?

Separate war village, farming, sub-accounts etc etc don't seem like fair tactics to me. Plus the second village sounds so unreal...

Good feedback, I'm sure Supercell will be constantly making improvements to clan wars. I'm basically looking at this as a beta version.
In the meantime I will be designing my base with these issues in mind and will make a hybrid base of sorts that will allow me to quickly and seamlessly swap around key buildings (town hall, storages, clan castle, etc).
Easiest way imo would be to simply allow us to edit the base once preperation day begins. That way we would not need a "save" feature.
The snapshot would happen as soon as war is declared instead of once war starts.
I agree this is a major issue. Your village should be protected once you start a clan war to avoid taking such a risk....Quote:
