Clan wars question dealing with War base

I realize that to change your war base you have to change your village but it seems like it would make more sense to be able to change your war base in clan wars that way you can still have a farming village. It's not logical to do it the current way that it is set up because resources are not important in clan wars how we set up our bases would be completely different if we only has to set up for clan wars without changing our villages because you still have to worry about resources when people attack your village.

I don't really understand your question, but the base that is used in the Clan War is the base you have at the end of preparation day. Then you can just change it back to your previous base.

Yes but unless you are actively online, make those changes at the very last second of day 1, or are under shield when day one ends, your base could be exposed to attacks.

I'm starting to think more people will put their TH outside to get a shield and help give them a window of time for prepping for CW.

What if you could make a base just specifically for clan wars! So instead of changing your base everyday, you could just make one and be done with it!

Yes i realize this but it is a lot of changing your base from war base to whatever it was set as before like farming when you could just change it only for clan war within clan wars without having to change your village. By doing so it allows you to set up your war base and leaves your village set up of farming. that way you are only make the change once instead of changing your base for clan wars then changing it back to lets say farming then a few days later your leader or co leader decides to enter into another clan war then you have to change it again and that a lot of changes that are having to be made that are unnecessary if you just allow us to change just our war base without changing your village.

It would be so much simpler than how they currently have it.

good point, there should be an dedicate war base for CW to be saved.

Agreed, so far I'm not impressed with this update. Seems half thought out.
