Are the Android users feeling discriminated?

I saw that there is a topic to add friends to hay day using the Game Center. The iOS users can have more slots in their roadside shop, more chances to sell something faster and many other useful things while the Android users have only Facebook. And not many people would share their Facebook account just for Hay Day. Why don't you make a way to let the iOS users and the Android users be able to interact easier? I'm waiting for your feedback!

Hay day started out as an apple/Game Center only game. Supercell has nothing to do with Game Center. It is built into all apple devices including desktop and laptop computers. The Android users begged supercell to create an android version. It is not their fault that Android makers didn't create a gaming community. Super cell makes games not social media sites. Unfortunately that means that FaceBook is the only option for people who choose to not use an apple device. The place to complain I think is Google. The Google Play store is where you buy games for your Android device. It would make since for Google to come up with a Game Center alternative for google games.

I understand about not wanting to use Facebook. I hate it. It gives me the creeps. But some folks have created a separate anonymous Facebook account for Gaming. It is against Face Book's rules because they want to sell stuff and show ads to the real you and when you create a fake name account you mess up their "graph". But frankly I could care less about face book's social graph, so that's what I suggest you do. There are a lot of Facebook accounts that are game related so I think you could find suitable players.

I am an android user, and while I would like to use GC for connecting to more people I find that using FB is sufficient.
Yes you have to link FB for trading etc however you dont have to give your real account :P. I have a FB account solely for the purposes of gaming. In one of my previous games we needed a method of groupchatting which was both fast and private so we opened an FB group. Till that day I didnt even have an FB account and it still is the only account I really check. I dont need FB for RL and neither do I feel the pressure of joining it for RL activities. On the other hand it is a popular method of messaging etc for gaming groups so I love my FB just for this purpose.

To those who currently havent linked their farm to FB, I would strongly suggest to do so. For androids its their only way and for IOS its a good way to connect to others. Like me you could choose to make a *dummy* account for gaming purposes. FB doesnt require any real info to be used so feel free to join as for instance John Smith. One piece of advice though, try not to grab a to common name or it might be difficult to be found when there are millions of Johns :P

Ok. This would be the first reason why i would buy an iOS device.

Apparently, there are only 10 million Android users. Maybe not even 50 000 use the forum.

I can never link my FB to HD. Every time I try that, HD gave me error :confused:

Ive been trying for over a day, but my android device keeps telling me there's an error. Weird.

luckily I have an ios device, too, so I can still manage pretty well.

Just a correction, if I'm reading that right: iOS users do not get more slots just because they use iOS. We have the ability to have friends from game center but that does not give us more slots as a result. I think I read your sentence right and wanted to point that out so it helps perhaps seem fairer.

But ya, android should have a game center-like part. Not sure why they don't.

You get slots based on the number of friends you have not based on your operating system. This is where Facebook users have an advantage. Because Game Center has a limit of 500 friends, the maximum slots you can get with Game Center is around 17. After that the number needed is something ridiculous like 234 which takes you over the limit. But you can always buy more with diamonds. Also if you delete friends you don't loose your slots.

Edit: oh and stripper, super cell has created a way for users to interact. It's called Neighborhoods. If I join a neighborhood with android users already in it, I can interact with them and I use iOS. It's possible.

I have not noticed this before. But doing the math for this, I can see why. I have far less than 500 friends in GC. Interesting. Thanks for the clarification, Tigg!

Well, my bad, OP.I am wrong. I guess you do get slots. So, nevermind :) I agree then, that is unfair.
