As clan wars draws nearer (less than 24 hours away) does anyone have any second thoughts? Clan wars will definitely change the game drastically, but for better or for worse? Will there be less dead bases cuz everyone is logging on? Will there be no more easy bases to take down cuz everyone has their CW base and is too lazy to change it back. I'm kinda freaking out, although that may just be the caffeine. Thoughts?

For me personally it will likely be a mess if I understand things correctly but I'm in the minority and just started playing a bit under 3 months ago.
If game play goes the way I think it might- worst case I will be clanless, will drop from Masters 3 farming currently to probably Silver 1 and will begin TH 8 upgrade soon. :D Not a big loss but the trophies are a sense of pride even if it is just from TH sniping and glorified TH bum rushes (my high was achieved last weekend during a parent clan push, just managed Masters 2 at 2805). Those league bonuses have been terrific in keeping 4 builders busy (along with sniping any and all available gold collectors or gold storages behind one wall).
Don't forget to breathe.
Its going to be part of the game and separate from the game as it is. CoC will still be CoC with the option of CW.
If it changes anything it will be your clan, and change is not a bad thing.
haha I feel better. Also the CW win/loss bonuses are going to be a big factor in increasing the amount of gold elix n de circulating in the game.Quote:

Like I said 'worst case' and it wouldn't be that bad. I want to farm and push simultaneously but am terribly slow at redesigning my base and won't be patient enough to continually switch back and forth between farming and defensive. I can give up pushing for the sake of farming and keeping 4 builders busy. :D
But as far as being in a clan, I am not big on the responsibility of Clan Wars time sink/little reward so was hoping there might be some clans that decide to opt out. I'm sure over time there will probably be a few (so can continue to make use of my CC!) and can find a happy home. :cool:
Bring on Clan Wars for all the others though! LOL definitely a lot of folks very excited about it and I'm not trying to be Dan Downer, just looking at it directly from one person's perspective.

The game should stay the same and more resources should be circling around in bases after a couple days/weeks.
More loot is ALWAYS good. :D
