Hello :( I was supposed to trade 3 land deeds for 3 marker stakes with someone from my neighbourhood. I trusted that person because we have traded before too, so when he told me to list first, I didn't refuse. I know that it's not such a big loss, but i don't want it to happen again. This kind of people should get banned. What should I do? Wouldn't it be beter if the staff would create a trading system? I'm waiting for your feedback!
I'm sorry for your lost but there's nothing you can do about it.
All trading are done at user's own risk of getting scammed. Naming the scammer is not allowed on this forum too since that can create a potential way for the falsified accusation. I'm not exactly sure about reporting him to SC but I don't think they'll do anything about it. Proving someone's guiltiness can be hard on this game because of a system that's not design to support trading in the first place.
Anyways, I agree on having a trading system in the future to avoid this.
I don't think that I could be acused of falsification as long as we talked on the neighbourhood chat. All the messages are kept in the game's database (I think, I'm not sure, but it would be normal)Quote:

If not following through on a trade is tolerated in your hood, you might want to change. Luckily our hood all work together.
Since "trading" is technically not a feature of HayDay there is nothing you can do on an official level. My advice is that you bring this up to your neighborhood leader(s). If they don't tolerate this kind of thing then perhaps they will kick the offender from the neighborhood. If not, then I would suggest just finding a new neighborhood.
Since this trade occurred with another person from your NH, I would contact the Leader and discuss the issue with them. The Leader can then decide how to proceed...hopefully by discussing the issue with the other person and getting their side of the story, and then deciding if, by chance, it was some sort of misunderstanding, or by kicking the other person out of the NH for not "playing nice."
If the trade was supposed to be with the Leader, you will have to decide whether this is still the NH for you.

Well, what do i get from even randomly accusing anyone in the first place? i've played a lot of games and i've never seen any forum preventing players to gather a list of bad names.
And to stress on that, we would need a valid gc/fb identity (which plays hayday) to do so. Isn't it too difficult or unrealistic that people would abuse this?
Generally, that person has to be your friend first to be able to obtain that level of information. Except for the case where a person's gc/fb and farm level was tracked down from forum posts, it's almost impossible correctly accuse anyone.

These are events that are hard to avoid from time to time. Its fortunate it wasnt a big loss. Personally, I d rather not trade if a very low level requests to buy first. But for your case, its just strange that a person whom you have traded before could do this for just 3 virtual deeds. Some people simply dont have the human values.
every forum has its own negativity. actually it's up to how u define negativity too. there's bugs section. people are screaming for updates, or bugs, or even making news for hoax issues.Quote:

secondly,
this is for supercell indirectly.
i believe it's randomly set that some players would get more of planks, while another gets more of bolts.. and the list goes on. we constantly find ourselves filled with too much tapes, and not a single bolt maybe. or any other order that matters.
all this random item drops NEEDS trading. maybe one could argue that we have NH. there's also DD for buying stuffs. but we all know BEM/SEM/LEM are items you dont get easily unless you spend time to flip the DD vigorously. (and sometimes it doesnt even help)
come on, there's already 6versions of threads opened for BEM/LEM trades. this CLEARLY shows that the DD and NH is simply not enough to cater and balance the gameplay it should have been. the way the game is now is intended for trading practice. either that, or supercell has failed miserably to manage this part of the gameplay.
screwed up games tend to have more exploiters. desperate players goes for desperate measures.

Believe it or not, some people play just fine without trading. I have a few people that I buy from on occasion, but I have also gone weeks without needing them to upgrade my barn and silo. But there is a price to pay for those shortcuts. Tending the chickens, sheep and goats requires feed which takes crops. All of this activity gets you those tools and BEM and XP. Buying those eggs and sweaters doesn't. It's a trade off. So I don't see supercell ever incorporating trading within the game. The careful way they have worked out those rare products is planned so that you are rewarded by playing the game as designed. It's not broken. It is the plan.
That's what makes this game different than all others. Just look at the cost to speed up things like mastery stars or to buy those bolts with diamonds. I believe that cost is so high on purpose to actually discourage you from doing so. If it was cheaper, it would be too easy and the prize would not be as sweet. The whole game is like that, even the elusive pearl and that ruddy tractor. The harder things are to get the more value we place on them. The value of the tractor went down as soon as it was available for coins, even though it still takes a lot of coins. People would rather win it or fish that pearl out of the water. It has no value except what we put on it. And we value it because it is so hard to get.
I am sorry you got hurt during a trade. It's just wrong when people are bad, but that's a risk we know occurs. We just have to move on. Creating a list of known bad guys is not going to help because it is too easy to change your GC ID. It would create a false sense of security and potentially harm the wrong people. It's not worth it.
