Clan Wars FEEDBACK here

So far so good on our Prep Day. The right bases were loaded to War Map for a 40 v 40 match. Matchmaking was short. We were able to donate to all our clan mates, and able to scout opponents.
I had more fun on Prep Day than I've had in a while, just chatting with clan mates, planning attacks, etc.
Hope the War Day goes well, I'll definitely be patient if there are problems - I haven't paid a cent for this game.
But so far, love what I see!
Always some potential tweaks:
Limiting who will participate manually, so we could do a 15 v 15 on a Tuesday afternoon or something.
Seeing who donated what, so we can kick clan mates that are ignorant and donating wall breakers and giants after they've been warned.

I would like to see the following implemented.

1. A save layout feature. preferably 3-5 or so save slots. I am a fan of the editor, but a save slot would free up a lot time.

2. A CC request just that emulates the 'Donation Method' ...
eg; so if I want a Dragon, and 5 Minions; I click the Dragon icon in my request; then it "reserves" a slot for a dragon to be placed in my Clan-War's CC *with the appropriate housing space*. and no other troops...then I click on the Minion icon, and it 'reserves' 5 slots for Minions.. I can request the levels in the message for ideal donation level.

I think a method like this would avoid the unwanted troops being donated. Right now we have no option to 'fix mistaken troop donations' during Prep Day.. (I think its critical to get troops you WANT in the CC to suit your base layout best)

Its a little frustrating that we currently have some un-requested troops... that we cannot seem to be able to re-request for the actual ones that we DO want for our War-Base's CC. I think a method such as the 'Donation Method' described, would only allow for the requested troops that we actually want. this I feel would be a better option for getting the requested troops we want.. (with out an option to try to re-request)

In addition, I think the ability to be able to change the CC troops available during Prep day.. having them be locked on War day is fine, but we should be able to 'edit' them until the prep day ends.

maybe know who donated troops? so leader coleader can take action to keep his mates back on track

or maybe put a BANK troops

where all the troops donated is filled in there and each member select the troops they want.... at the end, troops left are converted into elixir available to the ennemy to grab (it add to the current loot that can be taken from each base)

Thank you for the remarkable update. This truly will revolutionize the way Clash is played.

It would help out and calm people down if after the war was started when new people join the clan if the "clan members" view was changed to "visitors" view when viewing someone's base on the clan. Clan mates are freaking out about spy's. Im telling them right now to move all their traps and tesla to a corner until prep is over

I dont understand why i was put in the spectator mode:mad:.. I'm a very active player in the game and i never change clans..
I've been in the same clan since day one.. and some of the players who are inactive for a while now are part of the clan wars.. with their farming bases :confused:..

Suggestions for the Clan Wars follow-up update (because I am sure that was planned even before the release)


1) A lock-in button or save layout feature. Even if I could simply "lock-in" my base when it was ready, I'd be happy. I can deal with making a transformer base - but it will be a hassle to switch back and forth in conjunction with the timer for preparation day running out

2) A donation log for clan leaders or some sort of indicator for clan war donations - this way leaders can manage better

3) A clan war specific chat. When i switch over to my clan war, it pulls up a completely separate chat. This, as a clan leader, I can reserve for coordinating the clan war. That way I can chat away on the "regular" chat and save my preparation and planning stuff for the war chat. This would make coordinating a war much simpler

My clan is in a 30vs30 war and our entire clan is spectating. There are literally no town halls that show up on our side and the other clan has 30 town halls that are visible. This isn't going to be much of a war. Is there anything we can do to fix this?

Some bugs still happening. My CC is at l6 so has 35 spots. With 26 units donated into it, it shows full and nobody can donate any more.

Was one of the unlucky clans yesterday but was glad to see I could search again today! Started search for 45v45 couple hours ago, hopefully we find an opponent. Definitely not cancelling again ♥♥♥♥
