Clan Wars FEEDBACK here

1. Our leader started the war when most of us were offline and one of the players has put golems in most ccs before we were aware we were at war and so hadn't requested any troops... How do we dump the cc?

2. Three of our strongest th10s are appearing at the bottom of the war map with a really low level th picture, below the th8s... I can still scout their base but what does this mean? Are they just watching? They are long term members.

I understand how this process works so I'm gonna watch this thread for a while and answer any questions. People that are having technical issues will just have to wait for maintenance tomorrow. Supercell will take care of us guys just give them time!

we waited for some Hours before we declared war.... right after the big rush-hour was over.... Worked smooth... Match was found within 2 minutes... No problems so far with it.... Great job... Think most of the problems occurred because everyone wanted to be first.... We also had a lagging clan chat, but after 2 hours it went back to normal... So I would say it was also caused by the rush-hour...


Things I'm missing or noticed:


A red chat message informing all that war was declared and by whom would be nice....
troops should be only donateable on the war map after they are requested... Till 1 hour before prep day is ending, so that then the inactive bases could be filled up....
There should be an info who has donated the troops on the war map or we should e able to select what kind of troop we wanna have and only those than can be donated...
there are several interface bugs (overlapping texts aso as already mentioned by a lot of people earlier in this thread)
cooldown phase for clan messages should be lowered to max. 2 hours... Or the possibility to internal private messages should be given...
German Translation is messed up at some points (pm me if I should help fix it)

2) Allow players to dump unwanted troops. Maybe an option to tap on the troops in your War Base, and then a button that says remove.

I know many people have mentioned this issue but I want to second this gentleman's suggestions, I think these are great common sense solutions. I love the idea of tagging who donated what, in a way it can be a source of pride just like the donation numbers in your clan list.

I strongly support this+ the creation of a possibility to dump troops in war castle. Otherwise for instance newbies can donate goblins and wallbreakers to everyone in a clan, creating a major disadvantage which can't be solved by those receiving the troops.

I'm excited for the clan wars! Except I have some ideas.

1. Many don't want to change their base every prep day, what SC could implent is that you can make a "snapshot" of your base, saying that the base you made a snapshot of is the base you will be using in the war, you could use this snapshot over and over. You can make this snapshot anytime you want, just be carefull it is in prep day.

Another idea for this problem is that you can separate your war base and normal base

2. Make an option to dump some of your unwanted clantroops, nobody likes having an extra 4 giants!

I would love to see SC implent this, then clan wars will be perfect :D

Teach your clanmates how to do it properly for next time

when i logged into coc for the first time after i got the update, it showed that i wasnt in my clan anymore. So i searched for my clan to re-join it and it said i was still in the clan. I tried to join other clans or make a new clan but it said i was already in a clan. So i went onto my other device to see if it was just a one device problem, and everything with the clan was all fine. So i went back onto my Ipad and everything was all good again.

Either let people dump their clan war castle or tell the clan who donated. It is very annoying

My clan is organized so the donation problem doesn't affect us. Most of our members have specific requests already in place. Im already full with 2 witches for my war:cool:
