Kinda hoping you guys will revisit this. We don't need to see who donated what precisely, but a count of total war donates per clan member would be extremely helpful. The problem seems to be that only a few members are donating for wars, and are carrying the entire clan in terms of clan war defense. We can only speculate on this however, as there is no way to tell who is donating.Quote:

In my clan we don't allow the lower levels to donate to defensive war cc's and they often don't get to donate to attacking either. The upper levels understand that theyre expected to bear the burden of donating.Quote:

Sorry but you have either a poorly run clan or a very inactive one if you guys cant fill war cc's in 24 hours. It should only take 3-5 members donating to fill everyone out depending on what you guys use.Quote:

You could always ask everyone to post in Chat what and when they are donating. You should have a pretty good idea of who has what strength troops. So narrowing down who isn't donating wont take long.

The algorithm or maths involved in matchmaking any clan is MASSIVE. Try using all the data then trying to coincide it with an opposing clan of the same calibre at the same search time. We have drawn the last two one vs bonbee canada war (undefeated) and just war bottom player has a sweet victory of 4000 trophies. My point is supercell have made a large mistake in being able to declare war at any time! If coc allowed a clan registration for war every say 72 hours at the same time the database of clans registered would be much larger allowing for an even match up, not to mention it would make cw more exclusive and the hype would be bigger. great job sc but how much more attention and hype would war get if you allowed for war once a week?!Quote:

So what we need is a way to see who's contributing to war, so that we can create an environment where everyone else wants to contribute to war. Seems like a no brainer, but it would be immensely helpful.
I know there have been tons of complaints that the war matchmaking is unfair, and I know it can't be perfect. Our clan is 37-1-1, so you can imagine that we've won a lot of wars that we initially thought were unfair. But our current war... wow, it's definitely unfair.
We're a 15 vs 15 warring clan, and we have 2 TH9s with the rest TH8s until 2 high TH7s at the bottom. Our current war opponent has 5 TH9s!! At their bottom they have 2 weak TH7s and a TH6. The defenses on a couple of those TH9s are a little lower than some of our top TH8s, plus I think their TH6 sandbags them, so I can see why an algorithm thinks we may be equivalent. The problem really lies in those TH9's attack capabilities - they have more powerful troops and spells (plus 4 spells vs just 3) than our TH8s so their ability to get 44 or 45 on us is a lot greater than our ability to get 44 or 45 on them.
When it comes down to it, the lowest bases in a war don't matter much. Anyone a few rank #'s above the lowest can clean those up without a problem. In our wars, it's all about if our high guys can take out their high guys. Every war we finish in the 40's; any stars short of 45 are because we can't get them in the high bases. Therefore, I think high bases should carry more weight. No way should 2 TH9s be put up against 5 TH9s, regardless of their bottom guys averaging it out.
You're 37-1-1, and you're complaining about the matchmaking process? You think that three extra TH9s for your opponent means you cannot win? How do you know that they all have TH9 level troops/spells? Or that they have any skill whatsoever? Would you be here complaining if they had one extra TH9? Or two? Ugh.Quote:

This loot would be gotten as the attack happened and be without penalty because of a loss. I really love wars ( I was in a constant war clan before I got closer to upgrading my th), but while trying to upgrade all the elixir heavy costs that are inherent to a early town hall (troop upgrades camps and the like) while also warring is impractical. Therefore I hope you'll up the loot to make wars less costly and more rewarding in the end.
-P.S.- I am a 8 day old th9 level 83 in a casual clan. I intend to move to a more heavily warring clan once i get to a reasonably developed level.
