Clan Wars FEEDBACK here

Loving the clan wars, definetly brings new exitement into the game..

However.. Now being close to ending our second war i do start seing why we propably will soon stop playing war again in our clan.. Simply not cost worthy spending all that time, because you loose too much time raiding (both cups and loot) in the real game.

Problem is, you really need to go in to war with full army, spells and heroes.. And thats cool.. But not so cool that afterwards you dont have these for your real game attacks, so now have to wait 3 hours for new troops, heroes to wake up, and spells to get ready again before you can again take a fight in the normal game..


Please concider seperating these two games.. So you cook all your army/spells/heroes for normal attacks in your normal village..
..and then your army/spells/heroes for war in your war village.

This will add to the game, making war something extra to do... Not making it a choise between normal game OR war, as is now, where i think sadly war will soon loose when first exitement is over as theres just much better loot to be made with less army in the normal game.

previous attacks while scouting enemy clans is very small on the right bottom corner.. i just did an attack where another clanmate already scored 3 stars...iam so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now cause i just did 3 stars too for nothing.

make previous attacks display in a better form cause people are focussing on the bases while scouting and not on a small box on the right bottom corner

@Jeezz, I think there's already enough war loot available. I'm TH8 and if had I fought the TH10 and beaten him I would have received 450K in elixir. That's more than enough to cover my twelve lvl 2 dragons (20K each) and three heal spells (20K each).

If I had fought the next most powerful player, there would have been 300K loot in each resource available. the available loot is there, you just have to win it.

I think like most players you're looking at this from a farming perspective. Loot seems scarce cause you're not making a huge profit. But this is clan wars... Not farming. The point is to squash the other guy, not figure out a way to rob him.

I'm sure once Supercell creates a clan war leaderboard to track results and the degrees of wins/losses (as in how badly you were able to beat the other team or were beaten) you'll see that there is something tangible to fight for in Clan Wars. Pssssst so hurry up Supercell!

I see your point as a lower level player... Soon you will understand. Clan Wars does not appeal (in an economic sense) to higher level Clans, especially when the excitement wears down.

Jeeezz brings up all the points that support this theory. It is a bit of a downer on Clan Wars, and Clan War is fun! But reality must strike at some point.

I agree.

I do think though that it's a pleasant replacement for a trophy push which costs much much more loot and time.
For us Clan Wars could well replace trophy pushes.

I totally agrea with you TheOrkinMan.. I think the war loot is okay aswell, well except for the DE, but yes good loot for just winning one fight so no problem there and my issue wasn't about the war loot at all :-))

Problem is the fighting time it takes away from the real game... Cooking an army at my lvl. for war, with troops, spells, heroes and all takes about 3 hours... If all used in the war attack (and we go all in, so all do get used) i now face 3 hours again of cooking a new army before i can go into an attack in the normal game.. So thats 6 hours taken from normal gameplay (and now i get auto logged off cause of the 6 hour period.. Lol)

In those 6 hours i could have done lots of attacks in real game, especially if being a bit carefull with my spells and heroes.. So could not only have improved my trophy score (for those of us caring about that) but also have made much more loot than the bonus for war.. And in the end, the loot talks if i want to upgrade my stuff and naturally i will be playing where i can get most loot.. So not in war butvin the real game instead.

Seperating the two.. Then you wouldn't have to choose between them.. You could do your normal game attacks when troops where ready in your normal village... And your war attacks when troops where readyvin your war village :-)

I agree that there should be way for players not to participate in wars and there are probably many different ways to make that happen. But ... clan wars is not mandatory and you do not have to participate if you don't want to. Heck, you could probably just ignore all the CW chatter and focus on your own thing.

But clan wars is here to stay, so if you don't like it and don't want to participate in it perhaps you should find another clan of likeminded people who can only do farming without any war interruptions, at least until a future update provides a better mechanism for both parties to co-exist in the same clan.

Yes, not from an economic sense as I pointed out. That's why I pointed out clan wars should have something else more tangible like a new leaderboard or a new trophy system so there's something to win other than loot.

Clan wars will replace trophy pushing. Currently if you go to the top clans tab the ones at the top are there because each individual member has a ton of trophies right? Well simple solution is to create an additional trophy system that's completely independent of individual trophies. Then remove individual trophies from being involved in clan ranking at all. Yes I'm talking about not using the current system at all. GASP!

These clan war trophies can only be won and lost by playing clan wars, not individual raiding. Then reset this leaderboard say every two weeks. I'm sure each week the top clan will change since battle strategy will always be evolving.

The current top clans might not like it though. They've spent so much time & energy to get where they are. Well it's time for a change... I hope Supercell does this. It would make the clan leaderboard actually mean something. Top ranking would actually be fought for... Not just made up of a bunch of people with 4,000 trophies who only know how to farm & TH snipe.

I found it fun an exciting the first time around. The second time I was less excited because I had to change my base again and then trying to make sure I had a shield so I could have my base ready for the war when the timer ended. My clan seems really excited about it but myself and a few others there are growing tired of it already.

It's a pain, especially when you are all in different time zones and what is convenient for some isn't always for others for when the war starts. My trophy base doesn't function well for my cup level where I farm so I have to work all this ♥♥♥♥ out to get my base right for the war then try to get back to my farming base once it's locked into the war. I have to stop farming to make sure I get a shield and time to change my base before the war will start and lock my base in. Waiting hours for spells and heavy troops is annoying and expensive. And for what? 1 million in gold max and 4-5k de? I spend more on the troops and spells I have to use in the war battles than I get back in rewards. The actual battles offer next to no resources and the bonus at the end is dismal. The time and effort it takes means I get next to no farming done while the war was on. When you look at the big picture it's not really worth the time and effort required to participate in it's current state.

I'll be happy if they add a separate war base for CW so it doesn't affect our normal game, heroes available for attack as it's supposed to be a place where we can showcase our base at it's full potential but that should also include attack (we get faced with trophy clans and max everything so it's hardly a level playing field if we all have upgrading heroes), a separate CW army camp and spell factory so we don't have to kill our normal game participating in the wars, and lastly better rewards... the rewards are far too small to make it worth our while.
