Well certainly not if they were looking for gold, I'm assuming they were elixir hunting and for that it was worthwhile.
Let's see.
15 Giants = 37500
11 WB = 12500
44 Archers = 8800
87 Goblins = 8700
= Net gain of 125,580 elixer
Time wise, it wasn't really worth it since all those units aren't that quick to make.
I personally wouldn't waste all them troops for 193k elixir.

Why farm for elixers there's always enough?
When you first hit th8 you need a lot of elixir for lvl5 troops. Same for th9 and lvl6.Quote:
