How do I rearrange my war base?
During preparation day, your war base will automatically rearrange to match your village layout. If you want to rearrange your war base, just rearrange your regular village. Be aware that your war base can not be rearranged after preparation day has ended,

Edit : This means your normal village is linked to War base until the prep day is over. THEN it's copied permanently.
Till then whatever changes you make in your normal village will directly result in changes into the war base.
This is where his concern comes in. What if he can't login just few hours before his base is Permanently copied. i.e just before the prep day ends.
This leaves him no choice but to make changes earlier and that resulting his base being left exposed to the farmers.

Exactly. It makes a copy and you can change the war base any time during the 24 hours without effecting your village. The only reason you might want to change your base at the last minute is to give your opponents less time to scout your base and devise an attack strategy.

You are right goose. That is a huge oversight on their part. The way i described makes more sense. I imagine this will be fixed within the first update.

I was saying it looks like you are correct regarding the prep time. However, the version of clan wars that I described (where you have 24 hours of actual prep time where the base is copied initially but no longer linked to your village) makes more sense then what is being implemented.
