I think for the first few weeks it'll decimate some more casual clans, like the one I'm in now, actually. We have about half that just sign in to chat, raid *maybe* once a day. Right now a clan like that is fine, but it is also a clan that should really just never Clan War. However, it's new so you will end up Waring, but will lose due to so many of the clan most likely not really participating. Like getting caught with their TH outside, etc.
Player's wise - I think this feature will rekindle allot of interest. For casual players who like to raid and log off, I think it will actually be welcomed. The fact you don't have to break shield and its not your base being raided, is a big deal.
So I think it will again give players who don't want to drain the life out of their phones, something to do. So hopefully this will encourage casual players to come back - which are the people who generate the most loot
Farming wise, I am skeptical. For those who have all the elixir they want, it will be appealing for the non-breaking shield aspect. But from what I can tell at the moment, the loot (otherwise) won't be enough to encourage the hardcore types. The DE aspect loots pathetic to be honest, I'll have to do an all elixir troop raid for it to be significant.
Also, for Th levels it makes a difference. Th1-9 - I believe have options that don't require enormous costs.
Early to mid th10 - I think might not find to be worth the time to go for more than 1 star
I think ppl will use bases which have easy th and cc switch and raiding its only 1 raid after u sleep and 1 other during day and i think after a week most ppl will realise this. Next update the base save feature will most likely be added
Best thing about the CW is the fact you can raid on shield . . It will give us more to do such as scouting for our friendly players and being able to view all raids at any time that occurred in the CW thats a huge boost as well lots of content
Unless you use one of those transformer bases where you can easily switch from farming to pushing without much hassle,I can see it being a BIG hassle changing from farming to pushing during prep day and back to farming again after that.(Unless you wanna stay pushing and go push to whatever trophy range you want)
Yes, it will. The game was getting boring so the implementing of CW will turn up the fun.
Realistically, if you are anywhere close to a good base, and if you're not the rearranging should be a peice of cake. But, if you have a good base, make your war base while training an army comp, then raid. This should work almost every time unless you're running Barch or BAM with boosted barracks...

I dont think its that hard to design transformer bases.
But farming will be negatively affected after the update, especially a big one such as this.
